Twitch streamer Amouranth has just been revealed as one of the founding members of Playboy's new OnlyFans competitor, Centerfold. This new service is being marketed as a sex-positive, creator-led digital platform where models will be able to directly interact with fans who pay a subscription fee.

This venture is being headed by musician Cardi B, Centerfold's founding creative director. Also joining Amouranth and Cardi B is ex-Vine star Amanda Cerny, porn stars Lana Rhodes, Elsa Jean, and Mia Malkova, drag queen Gigi Goode, models Keegan Whicker and James Maas, plus several Playmates.

Centerfold launched on December 20, just a few weeks after Amouranth revealed she had officially become a Playboy bunny. This newest business move follows a series of investments Amouranth has made into 7 Eleven, gas stations, and Visa stock.

Amouranth has a knack for taking advantage of new opportunities and content niches. She topped Twitch's latest animals, aquariums, and zoos category as soon as it launched, and became the very public face of the Twitch "fart meta".

The streamer is also a creator on OnlyFans, and claims to have the number one account in the world, although that hasn't been corroborated anywhere. Last month, she posted a picture that seemed to show she earned over $200,000 off the back of a video of her topless, which if true means OnlyFans is a big source of income for her.

It is not known at this time if Cardi B, Amouranth, or any of the other new Centerfold creators will have to eventually give up their OnlyFans pages and be exclusive to Playboy's service.

It's interesting to see how legacy media Playboy continues to stay relevant despite now existing in a time where the content it offers can be easily accessed elsewhere. According to a press release, the roadmap for Centerfold includes, "merchandise design, production and distribution capabilities, digital content production, live streaming, blockchain integration and more."

Hopefully, the company will ditch the blockchain integration the same way Stalker 2 did after fan backlash.
