Fortnite season two might have only just begun, but its first hotfix is already live. No major changes like weapon vaultings just yet, but some of the returning guns have had their stats tweaked. Good news for those who use the Combat Shotgun and Dragon's Breath Sniper as both weapons have been buffed.

The Combat Shotgun's damage per pellet has been increased. I wouldn't make room for it in your arsenal by dropping the Havoc Pump Shotgun just yet, though. The Mythic version of Fortnite's newest shotgun can do 250 damage in a single shot. Even with a buff, the Combat Shotgun can't compete with that.

The Dragon's Breath Sniper won't do more damage per pellet, but this week's Fortnite update has increased its rate of fire. Any Fortnite sniper that doesn't need to be reloaded after every single shot is a win in my book, so one that was already capable of firing multiple shots in a relatively short space of time having that ability increased feels like a victory for those of you who do your eliminating from a distance.

Epic's hotfix has also addressed an issue where the Havoc Suppressed AR had perfect accuracy if used while sliding. One of those problems that's great if you're the one taking advantage of it, but terrible if you're in the overpowered gun's crosshairs, so probably best to fix it asap. A couple of Fortnite's augments have also been nerfed as part of the minor update. The Medium Ammo Amp and Munitions Slide now aren't quite as helpful.

Nothing in there about poor Mystica's head. The new skin that can be unlocked via season two's battle pass looks badass in concept art, but that hasn't really transferred across to the real thing, resulting in some of you requesting the skin be changed. No such complaints about Thunder. Seems like many of you are the ones who want to do the buffing when it comes to Fortnite's new lizard guy.
