The date for the next Halo Infinite flight has been set as September 24 and all registered Halo Insiders will be invited to play, as long as they are registered by September 13.

343 Industries confirmed the date for the flight on Twitter, as well as confirming that all Halo Insiders will get a chance to play, rather than the selective process that was used last time.

In the Tweet, 343 said, "The next #HaloInfinite multiplayer preview is targeted to arrive on Sept. 24! All fully registered Halo Insider profiles as of Sept. 13 are eligible to participate. Don’t miss out!"

Thanks to a post focused on some of the changes coming to Halo Infinite's first technical preview, we know that the second preview will include Big Team Battle and 4x4 Arena as playable modes. A training mode will also be added to the academy,

As reported by Eurogamer, Halo community director Brian Jarrard Tweeted to add more context to the flight. He said, "Ready up, our next #HaloInfinite multiplayer flight is coming soon! We need everyone's help, let's see how hard we can push our services and infrastructure so things will fall down during the preview instead of in December.

He continued, "And ICYMI: Bots will be back (with some improvements), Academy will return with some updates and the addition of "training mode", and there will be a much bigger focus on Arena PVP this time including a new map and some objective modes. BTB is also on the menu!

For now, we urgently need as many Insiders signed up and ready to go by Sept. 13 since it takes a fair amount of time to work through all the other steps on our side. We'll have more info to come, stay tuned!"

Jarrard later replied to a comment asking if every single Halo Insider will be invited, saying, "Definitely! Much bigger target this time, I'm hoping every eligible Insider gets invited (if millions more suddenly [sign] up maaaaybe not, but that's a good problem to have)".
