Gaming studios normally use a lot of different methods in order to create sound effects for their games, but only one of them dared to use an adorable pug. The pug, Gyoza, is responsible for creating sound effects for the upcoming Halo: Infinite. In a recent Instagram post from the official Halo account, Gyoza can be seen making all kinds of different noises that will be making their way into 343 Industries' upcoming game.

Gyoza, who is named after a delicious Japanese dumpling, will most likely be voicing some type of alien species in the upcoming game. Owned by 343 Industries' Technical Art Director, the pup's energetic sound effects will definitely provide quality sounds to Master Chief's next adventure, and he's most likely the most adorable cast member on the entire project.

From brutes to grunts to elites, the Halo franchise has already provided us with some impressively original alien designs, each with their own distinct voices, so it's safe to say that whatever species will be voiced by Gyoza is sure to be an interesting addition to the game. Based on his noises, we can guess that it might be some sort of small, grotesque species. However, the possibilities are virtually endless when it comes to the imagination of the team at 343 Industries.

Halo: Infinite, which is scheduled to launch during the 2020 holiday season, has been dealing with some negative headlines lately, especially after its creative director stepped down in August, just over a year before launch. With only a short trailer released so far, it's hard to say whether or not the game will be able to recover from its production stumbles and live up to the expectations of the Halo fanbase.

Luckily though, Gyoza the pug has come along to add some positive light to the production of Halo: Infinite, and for some, seeing just how his various noises are implemented within the game can be enough to warrant a purchase. We'll be looking forward to seeing Gyoza's name pop up on those end credits, and hopefully 343 Industries paid him handsomely for lending his talents to the upcoming title. After all, this pup certainly deserves a few treats for his performance.
