Ciri has always been one of the most popular characters in the Witcher series. However, her popularity grew considerably once she appeared as one of the main protagonists in The Witcher 3. Her badass attitude and ability to cut down all sorts of enemies in her path made fans fall in love with her.
In the preceding years, those fans have been creating plenty of cosplays of the popular character. And Ciri clearly has a talented fanbase as so many of the cosplays look so much like her. For this list, we've had to narrow it down to the ten that most resemble the game.
10 DenikaKiomi
This image of DenikaKiomi (photography by aKami777) in her Ciri cosplay looks like a screenshot from a high-quality live-action remake of The Witcher 3. The level of detail on the outfit, right down to the bandage on the arm, is incredible.
The shirt even seems worn-in, either due to the color of it or the lighting of the shot. Either way, it makes it seem like Ciri has been traveling and fighting monsters in this outfit, and has not just put it on for a photoshoot. Plus, the makeup does a good job of making DenikaKiomi resemble Ciri.
9 Matissa-Shiro
One of the things that stands out in Matissa-Shiro's Ciri photos (photography by IiGREEDiI) is how much her piercing green eyes resemble those of the character. Although, the eyes aren't the only reason this cosplay makes this list.
The hair, belt, and gloves all look like they've been taken straight from the game. Additionally, the interesting background makes the whole image even cooler. There is a lot to be proud of with this cosplay, so its no surprise Matissa-Shiro uploaded many photos of it (additional photos can be found by clicking on her name at the start of this entry).
8 Ver1sa
In these images, Makks Tobi's high-quality photography has enhanced Ver1sa's already impressive Ciri cosplay. Not many use the hooded Ciri as inspiration for a cosplay despite her wearing it during a really important scene (don't worry, no spoilers here). Ver1sa's hood is fantastic though, fitting the style of Ciri's one perfectly (albeit a slightly different color).
Getting Ciri's signature scar and eyeshadow right is vital in making someone resemble her, and Ver1sa has excelled in that regard. Plus, the choice of location and inclusion of the jug help sell that she is in the Witcher universe.
7 Akarana
Akarana's (photography by LongerLex) version of Ciri seems to be more in touch with her royal blood as she seems like an Empress while striking that powerful pose. However, her brilliantly put together clothes show she's still a Witcher at heart.
Her entire outfit is highly accurate to the game from the designs to the colors. The sword is the highlight though, as getting weapons to look real isn't the easiest thing to pull of in cosplay, but Akarana has nailed it. The weapon seems like it could slice through anyone who challenges Ciri. Plus, it looks almost identical to the sword she wields in the game.
6 MariyaNegoduet
If you're a fan of Witcher cosplays, then check out MariyaNegoduet's work. Partially for her own cosplays, but also because of the amazing photos she has taken of other Witcher cosplayers.
She is in front of the camera for this one, and she is giving Ciri's alternative look some love. From the chain mail chest to the detailed gloves, it is a wonderful re-creation of the free DLC outfit. Although it isn't all about the clothes as the scar and eyeshadow are very Ciri-like too.
5 Jellyxbat
All the players who spent hours playing Gwent in The Witcher 3 will appreciate the use of the card game in this cosplay by Jellyxbat (photography by Adenry). Along with the cards, the rest of the props and the setting are excellent, and they really compliment the cosplay.
As for the cosplay itself, Ciri's DLC clothes have been masterfully re-created. The large shoulder piece has all the same intricate details that the video game version has, while the gloves (particularly the left one) are great too.
4 DamnAvenger
It's hard to search for Ciri cosplays without coming across DamnAvenger. As along with the image above, she has cosplayed the popular character in the sauna and as an Empress. It is no surprise that she would want to show off her Ciri as it is stunning. She has really nailed the hair and makeup of the young potential Witcher in all of her Ciri cosplays.
In the image above, she has also done an amazing job at making Ciri's outfit and sword from the third game. Plus, she and her photographer GREED made a smart choice with the pose as it makes her look awesome. The horse deserves a special mention too for its fantastic cosplay of Kelpie from the books.
3 CiriCosplay
This cosplayer likes to go by the name of CiriCosplay, and she has certainly earned that name. Her Ciri outfit is immaculate, with the sword and sheath being especially impressive. Also, credit to the photographer Mantikoa for getting a full-body shot, as it allows us to see that the boots look just like the ones Ciri wears.
Despite her name, CiriCosplay has cosplayed as many other characters from video games and comic books. And she seems to have put just as much care into those cosplays as she has for this one.
2 DrosselTira
DrosselTira's (photography by Hainecch) attempt at making Ciri's alternate outfit is seriously impressive. It'd be hard for any other cosplay outfit to match the accuracy of this one.
From the little shiny circles on the right glove to the insane details on the skirt to the perfectly shaped shoulder piece, everything looks exactly the same as it does in The Witcher 3. Even the pose DrosselTira is doing she got from the game (as she revealed in the comment section of the photo). It is an unbelievable cosplay.
1 TophWei
Two of TophWei's cosplays are included in this entry because they both deserved to make this list. The adult Ciri (photography by MilliganVick) genuinely looks like an in-game render. TophWei has done a perfect job on the eyeshadow, lipstick, and scars, making her look exactly like Ciri.
Her cosplay of Ciri as a child is equally impressive. The freckles and the toned-down makeup do wonders in making TophWei resemble a child as well as resemble Ciri. If anyone ever makes a film based solely on The Witcher 3, then TophWei could play Ciri at all ages (at least from a visual standpoint).
