If you think there’s too much trash talk going around in Fortnite, you’ve clearly never played Monopoly. The board game is notorious for stretching the limits of any relationship due to suspicion, betrayal, and accusations. It now seems that Fortnite will soon inculcate these ‘family values’ via a collaboration with what is one of Hasbro’s most popular board games.

Hypex has always been a trusted source when it comes to Fortnite leaks; their latest datamine led to the discovery of Monopoly themed cosmetics within the game’s code. The dataminer has suggested that these could be cosmetics, but doesn’t seem sure about the nature of the collaboration, or whether it’s a collaboration at all. This is unlike the dataminer’s regular updates, as they usually have way more information about upcoming content.

The decrypted assets include classic Monopoly avatars like Scottie Dog, the Top Hat, the Race Car, and even newer ones like the T-Rex and the Penguin. It seems unlikely that Fortnite will introduce some kind of limited time even as part of this collaboration; it’s most likely some sort of cosmetic. As per the images shared by Hypex, we’ll find out the full nature of this partnership in Chapter 2 of Season 8.

Fortnite collaborations are a dime a dozen of late. The game recently partnered with the upcoming Venom: Let there be Carnage movie to introduce Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock. The cool thing about this is that Eddie will have a custom emote that will allow him to transform into Venom. The Venom bundle includes a Symbiote Scythe pickaxe, which can transform based on whether Eddie Brock or Venom is using it, a Symbiotic Sail Glider and Symbiote Trail Contrail back-bling. The bundle also comes with a Tasty Snack spray.

Fortnite also revealed that the villain of the movie, Carnage, will be part of the Season 8 battle pass. While there are a number of Carnage themed items that can be unlocked, you’re going to have to grind 90 levels before you can get your hands on any of them.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage will come to theaters on October 1, two weeks before its most recently rescheduled release date.
