343 Industries has shared an extensive look at some of the feedback it received from the Halo Infinite Technical Preview, as well as discussing some of the changes it is working on.

The feedback and potential changes were compiled in a lengthy blog post titled, "Technical Preview Outcomes", and has 343 detailing some of the key pieces of feedback it received from players, both good and bad. 343 opened the blog by saying that most of the topics discussed have already been fixed or will be investigated in the coming months.

The first section of the blog discussed accessibility, remarking that most of the feedback has been very positive and that players are happy with the inclusions so far. However, it noted that players wanted an "auto-sprint" button, and the ability to change the colour of damage feedback. 343 said that it loves these suggestions, and will be working on them for post-launch.

One thing that players reported not being too happy about in the Technical Preview is the sound of the Needler and the Plasma Pistol, which many claimed wasn't close enough to other Halo games. 343 said that it is "continuing to iterate on the sound design for the Needler and Plasma Pistol (Primary Fire) along with enhancing the Gravity Hammer sound now".

It was announced last month that Halo Infinite will be using challenges to progress its battle pass system instead of XP, which caused some concern amongst fans. On this subject, 343 revealed that there will be more daily, replaceable challenges that should be simple and difficult to run out of. It promised that there is "significantly more depth" to the system than what we've seen so far.

The whole blog post is full of granular details about things that are being looked at and changed in Halo Infinite, including the difficulty of bots, the amount your personal AI talks, and the design of the killstreak medals. The most concrete thing to be changed is the combat sensor, which has been shifted to be more like the original Halo games.
