It seems like there's no stopping Lost Ark at the moment. Not only did the MMO receive a great reception in terms of reviews, but a whole lot of people are also playing it. The game broke into the top five of Steam's all-time peak concurrent players list yesterday with over 984K players. However, at the time of writing, it sits at second spot with a peak of 1,308,963 players, beating titans like CS:GO and Dota 2, sitting only below PUBG.

One of those many players is Twitch streamer Asmongold, who only recently returned to streaming after a long break. He rose to popularity due to his World of Warcraft streams, making him one of the biggest content creators when it comes to MMOs. His return lined up with the launch of Lost Ark in the American and European markets, so fans were really interested in what he had to say.

However, those of you waiting for the game to launch on day-one already know that the devs encountered a last minute deployment issue, resulting in the launch getting delayed by a few hours. So instead of finishing off some chores, reading a book, or doing absolutely anything else, a number of people decided to watch Asmongold's live stream where he too was just waiting for the launch. Yes, over 400,000 people were so bored while waiting for Lost Ark's launch that they watched a guy waiting for it too.

According to GameRant, Asmongold managed to garner over 430K viewers in the hours before the launch. The numbers only started to go down once Lost Ark finally launched and people started getting into the game themselves. Unfortunately, like most MMO launches, servers quickly became congested and players had to wait in long queues.

Our MMO expert Harry was all praises about Lost Ark in his review, saying it "is one of the most polished titles I’ve played for some time, especially an MMO. The game is free and will be hyped-up thanks to Amazon and Twitch. I can’t think of a reason why you shouldn’t try it."
