Shroud is a rare breed; He is a streamer who constantly emphasizes his lack of interest in competitive play, preferring to "casually" stream a variety of games – yet somehow he continues to dominate the competition regardless of the game. Shroud's reputation is not exactly for his zany personality – he's actually as chill as a cucumber 99% of the time. Rather, he is known for his consistent ability to perform at a high level, specifically in FPS games. Here are 5 games that Shroud decided to casually dominate.

1. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

That's right, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare just released and Shroud has instantly displayed some insane skill in the multiplayer scene. Even during his first-ever match in the game, he messes with some settings in the menus and, upon returning to the battle, instantly headshots an opponent for the kill. Considering Shroud's skill and reputation, it isn't much of a surprise to find that the first shot he takes in a brand new game is a headshot. He went on to lose the first match, but not before going 26-6: an impressive opening kill/death ratio. We can certainly expect streams in the near future filled with Shroud's domination in Activision's new FPS on Mixer.

2. Apex Legends

Shroud doesn't play Apex Legends professionally, yet when he logs on and plays against full-time pros, he blends in perfectly. Shroud is currently in the highest-ranking tier of Apex, the Predator division, which currently has less than 1500 players in it. His worldwide rank at the time of writing is around 500th (top 0.1% of players), which is nothing to bat an eye at, especially considering the heavily abused "Alt-F4" glitch that allows any player to never lose ranking points.

3. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Shroud's older fans know where it all started for the streaming superstar: his successful run on Cloud9's professional CS:GO roster. Many would credit this game as Shroud's first true claim to fame, even before his explosive rise streaming PUBG. Shroud's connection with C9 began with the organization's acquisition of compLexity's roster, which Shroud was a stand-in for at the time. With Shroud's incredible accuracy and reputation for clutching matches, C9 was able to place consistently well at tournaments in the following years, most notably in the ESL series, culminating in a $200,000 1st place victory for the team in 2016.

4. World Of Warcraft Classic

A bit of a curve-ball, Shroud took to World of Warcraft Classic in a big way, streaming the release of the game for long hours. He wasn't dragging his feet either, keeping toe-to-toe in leveling progress with some of the biggest names in WoW (such as Asmongold and Sodapoppin). While he wasn't the first to hit the level cap, he grinded like a mad-man and did The Horde proud. He pulled over a 24-hour stream upon the game's release, followed by streams that averaged around 10 hours a day with the game. Although we're not talking PvP here, the success Shroud had with leveling efficiently demonstrated his versatility as a streamer.

5. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

Most would agree that Shroud's tenure during PUBG's heyday was his most explosive period for growth. Freshly transitioning from CS:GO and C9, PUBG became Shroud's new vehicle for continuing his reputation as an S-class FPS gamer. Shroud's most popular YouTube videos are dominated by his PUBG content, performing consistently well in tournaments, showmatches, and streams – perhaps most notably tieing for first place in a particularly tense Twitch Rivals tournament last year, securing over $5000 for the placement.

Shroud's skills have brought him quite a few fans. Now that he has abandoned Twitch for Mixer, it is more than likely he'll be bring a flock of FPS fans with him. It will be interesting to see if Shroud gets hooked on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and brings more of his competitive side out again, especially considering that he's transitioning out of his casual romp with World of Warcraft Classic. If so, get ready for a flurry of heated FPS action.
