Kaitlyn "Amouranth" Siragusa, a streamer known for her risque cosplay, is no stranger to violating Twitch's guidelines, creating a reputation for her uncanny ability to land herself in hot water with the company. From wardrobe malfunctions to unauthorized streams, here is a list of 5 of the most memorable times Amouranth messed up on Twitch while live-streaming.

1. She Lied About Streaming In A Store

Unfortunately, Amouranth decided to be dishonest about the nature of her phone use while on private property, a direct violation of Twitch's guidelines. Lying about streaming on someone else's property can result in a ban of up to 1 month, and Amouranth took no issue with informing a store employee that she was simply "video chatting," avoiding disclosing the fact that she was, indeed, filming/streaming. The incident led to her being mass-reported by Redditors in attempt to get her banned, to no avail.

2. She Streamed A Copyrighted Movie

In another case of Amouranth clearly breaking Twitch guidelines and receiving no punishment, she streamed the movie The Phantom of the Opera. If playing the movie itself wasn't blatant enough of a violation, it is a musical at that, adding even more copyrighted material into the fray. Considering Amouranth's stream didn't add transformative content to the copyrighted material (essentially just letting it play), it wasn't exactly subject to fair use either. Supposedly, she was able to escape consequence because Twitch admins had temporarily disabled reports on her stream.

3. She Had An Unfortunate Wardrobe Malfunction

Perhaps most famously, Amouranth was actually banned for 3 days following a NSFW wardrobe malfunction while live-streaming on Twitch. Wearing short-shorts and no underwear (as viewers soon came to realize), Amouranth decided to lay on the floor in an attempt to coerce her dog over to the microphone, supposedly to capture some interesting sounds for her ASMR-esque stream.

Unfortunately, it resulted in a NSFW flash to her entire audience, as her shorts revealed a bit too much for a brief moment. Considering Twitch prohibits obscene and pornographic material, she found herself in hot water and swiftly received the ban hammer (only to be reinstated 3 days later).

4. She Was Kicked Out Of A TwitchCon Event

The most confusing instance of Amouranth's proclivity for causing trouble was her TwitchCon fiasco. When arriving late for an event at the convention, a staff member approached Amouranth and asked her if she was a part of the show. When she responded "no" to the staffer, she was promptly asked to leave. The most likely explanation for the drama is that Amouranth tried to duck into the keynote late – only to find that there was no option for standing, resulting in her embarrassing removal.

5. She Used Twitch To Promote Her NSFW Patreon

Those who are even remotely familiar with Twitch's guidelines understand that "sexually explicit content and activities, such as pornography, sexual acts, and sexual services, including solicitation and offers for such content, are prohibited." Plugging her Patreon account on Twitch certainly violates these guidelines, considering that her page explicitly states that, "Becoming a patron grants exclusive access to my MOST STEAMY, LEWD, NSFW, and other content whether by email or directly on the Patreon Wall/Feed" – Yikes.

Everyone makes mistakes of course, but Amouranth seems particularly prone to them. It doesn't help that she is targeted by plenty of trolls who label her as a "Twitch thot," but she also hasn't necessarily produced content that effectively combats her critics. Sure, Twitch is known to favor bigger streamers, but Amouranth's habit of walking on thin ice may eventually lead to her permanent removal from the platform if she isn't careful.
