A Plague Tale: Requiem follows immediately after the events of Innocence. Hugo and Amica leave France in search of a fresh start while trying to control Hugo's curse. But when his powers erupt into a flood of devouring rats, the siblings search for salvation on a prophesied island that could hold the key to saving Hugo's life.

We got to see Requiem's stealth-action gameplay in a trailer released at the 2021 Game Awards that showcased much of Amica's new combat options. Amica has a crossbow now and she knows how to use it.

Pre-orders are available now for both the Standard and Collector's Editions of A Plague Tale: Requiem. You can pick up the standard game on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam for $49.99 USD, or you can nab the Collector's Edition for $189.99. This includes physical merch like a metal replica of Hugo's feather brooch, the game's soundtrack in vinyl, lithographs, and a physical copy of the game of course. Both editions come with The Protector Pack, which includes a new crossbow skin, bonus crafting materials, and 13 exclusive cosmetics for Amica.

Curiously enough, Focus Home hasn’t confirmed the June 17 release date on its social channels or the game’s website. Xbox might have jumped the gun a bit, or it might just be a placeholder. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on the official sources to confirm that June 17 date.
