Redditor Zuko2000 has proved that even though they are being performed by video game characters, it is possible to recreate the poses from Super Smash Bros. at home.

With the festive season basically upon us, new video game releases are coming thick and fast. Spider-Man took over the gaming world in September. Red Dead Redemption 2 stole Spidey's crown the following month. Now, in November, most of us are talking about the newly released Pokemon Let's Go, whether it be the Pikachu or Eevee edition.

If the above has taught us anything, it's that once a new month begins, a new game will come along to swipe that hype. In December's case, the swiping has already begun. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the incredibly popular series' foray onto the Nintendo Switch, will hit stores on December 7th, 2018. However, it is already pretty much the only thing anyone is talking about.

Those of us who simply can't wait for the new Smash Bros. to arrive are still having to settle with the latest version of the game on Wii U. In fact, one Redditor has played the game so much that he has started to imitate some of the character's victory poses. Zuko2000 posted a video on Reddit last week of him replicating the victory poses of Captain Falcon, Sonic, and Bayonetta.

In the description, Zuko2000 writes that all he ended up with was "a sore back and a lot of rug burns." We think he's doing himself a disservice. As you can see from the comparison video above, not only does he perform the poses, he pretty much does them exactly in sync with the characters. For the Bayonetta pose, in particular, that's extremely impressive. Also, Sonic performs a backflip, so that's a bold pose to choose too.

Zuko2000 and whoever else is trying to find different Super Smash Bros. related things to fill the time between now and Ultimate's release won't have to for much longer. The latest Smash installment is now less than two weeks away. It promises to be even bigger than any chapter to come before it. Will it be better than Melee, though? Well, we'll be the judge of that come December 7th.
