THQ Nordic has revealed a brand new trailer for AEW: Fight Forever, giving us a another look at some ring action as well as a brief showcase of the game's wacky minigames.

Revealed during the THQ showcase and introduced by AEW commentator Tony Shiavone and professional wrestler Britt Baker, AEW: Fight Forever will contain a Career Mode as well as dancing and baseball minigames, albeit with a jazzy wrestling twist. THQ doesn't reveal a release date for the game, but the game's fairly brief trailer says it will be "Coming Soon."

The actual gameplay footage starts out by giving us another look at some standard wrestling moves, but goes on to show off the variety of weapons wrestlers will be able to use in the ring. The footage shows wrestler Britt Baker using weapons such as a baseball bat, folding chair, fire extinguisher, and a massive metal bin to bea the snot out of her opponent.

We also got the briefest of looks at the game's baseball and dancing minigames, with both of them looking absolutely bonkers. The dancing minigame has wrestlers stood in a line mimicking the dance moves of another wrestler outsde of the ring, while the baseball minigame has a wrestler with a giant baseball for a head being walloped into the stands of a surrounding stadium. We didn't get to see any of the Career Mode during the trailer, but it's easy to imagine what that might entail.

As for what else we already know, AEW: Fight Forever was announced way back in 2020 and is the first AEW branded video game to be made. The game will also feature matchups of different genders and also seems to be more fast-paced with a much more simple control scheme than it's competitor, the WWE series. That being said, we don't quite know what the game will actually look like until it's on store shelves, which could be as early as this year considering the "coming soon" attached to the end of today's trailer.
