There are many Quests in Afterimage, with the vast majority coming from the many zones you will visit during your adventure through the world of Engardin. While not every area will offer many Quests, they will likely have at least one for you to tackle, which can lead to valuable rewards that will be of tremendous use to you.

Anything from powerful gear that can help tie your build together to a secret boss to an NPC that will open their shop to you and everything in between can be had by completing Quests, and the Field of Geo region has all that and more!

Rescue Quest WalkthroughTark's Snail Shop in the Field of Geo zone in Afterimage

"Rescue" will most certainly be the first Quest you stumble into when you first enter the Field of Geo zone, as one of the first things you will notice is an enormous, abandoned Snail Shop near the entrance of the area.

By walking up to the Snail and interacting with it, Tark will begin talking to you from somewhere nearby. A landslide has trapped him, and he needs you to drop down from above him to break open the blockade and free him. Thus, beginning the Quest.

While simple in text, this will take a bit of time and effort to complete, as you will need to navigate to the upper western portion of the zone. Doing this is easier said than done, so be prepared for a hike.

How To Rescue Tark

A map detailing the Route needed to Complete the Rescue Mission and save Tark in Afterimage

Your first order of operation is to reach the first Confluence in the Field of Geo region, found in the northeastern part of the area, directly to the right of the friendly Bouncing Fungus you can also accept a Quest from (more on that below).

Once here, you will need to head west past the friendly Bouncing Fungus until you reach the Warrior Fungus boss fight. Defeat the Warrior Fungus, then proceed left and drop down into the area below.

From here, you must drop down one more layer to find a lift you can operate. Take the lift down, then follow the winding pathway the rest of the way down to find Turk! Break open the blockade trapping him in to complete the Rescue Quest.

Completing this Quest will give you access to Turk's Shop and have him relocate to Resting Town, where you can fill up on HP and MP Potions and much more!

Communication Quest Walkthrough

The second Quest you will likely come across in the Field of Geo is "Communication," which involves you speaking to a friendly Bouncing Fungus found just west of the Confluence in the middle of the zone. It will ask you to find a Strange Spore with no further clue or description.

Fortunately for you, if you did the "Delicacy" Quest for Alice, you can easily complete this Quest by killing the same Bouncing Fungus enemies you did for the Medium Rare Mushroom ingredient for her Mushroom Family Soup recipe.

Another good piece of information is that the Drop Rate for the Spore you're looking for appears to be decent, so it shouldn't take you too long to obtain it. Once that happens, return to the friendly Bouncing Fungus and give it the Spore.

This will open a shortcut for you, as you can jump on the Bouncing Fungus' head to launch yourself up through the gap above you, giving you easy access to and from the Confluence nearby and the rest of the Field of Geo!

Kitten Quest Walkthrough

Lastly, we have the "Kitten" Quest, which is started and completed in the northeastern portion of the map, directly to the right of the uppermost Confluence.

In this part of the Field of Geo, speak to Roke, a pink and blue cat standing guard in front of a doorway. Renee will convince him to let them help him, having him open the door for you and beginning the Kitten Quest.

Behind the door is Hill, the Frenzy Meowling. This boss fight is nothing too special and will probably take next to no effort to complete. Defeating Hill will net you one Shard of Divine Leaf and the Book of Geo. After this, return to Roke to complete the Quest and receive the Odd Badge Accessory!
