With many zones and formidable foes roaming the world of Engardin in Afterimage, you will constantly find yourself revisiting Resting Town to take a load off and speak with the NPCs you've recruited during your adventure or were there from the very beginning.

Alice is one of the first NPCs you will meet in Resting Town and is a Conjurer, which apparently means Chef in the world of Engardin. After speaking with her, she will ask you to find her specific Mushrooms for her Mushroom Family Dish, thus beginning the "Delicacy" Quest.

Cooking Overview

Before you can have Alice make you Meals with the resources you've gathered, you must first obtain a Mushroom Spore and a Medium Rare Mushroom, as both are needed for her to make the Mushroom Family Recipe.

Delicacy Quest Guide

The ingredients you need for the Recipe will be found within the Field of Geo zone, the next area you will visit after you reach Resting Town. Once you're in the Field of Geo zone, you will want to navigate to the northern section of it, as this is where the Mushroom enemies reside.

When here, you're looking for the following enemy types:

Enemy

Description

Drops

Bouncing Fungus

Bouncing-Fungus

A large pink and yellow Mushroom that uses its fists and body to outpower its opposition.

Medium Rare Mushroom

Sporeling

Sporeling

A small blue and purple, squid-like Mushroom that swims through the air. It doesn't pose much of a threat on its own, but they usually travel in groups and can easily overwhelm.

Mushroom Spore

Sporeling Nest

Sporeling-Nest

A medium-sized blue and purple Mushroom that spawns Sporelings, allowing many of them to flood the area if it's not taken care of quickly.

Mushroom Spore

After gathering a Medium Rare Mushroom and a Mushroom Spore, you can head back to Alice in Resting Town and hand them over to her, which will complete the Delicacy Quest, having Alice open her Conjuring (Cooking) services to Renee.

From here, you will be able to see the complete list of Recipes Alice can make you, regardless of if you have the proper ingredients for them or not. You will also learn that consuming a Meal for the first time will grant you permanent Stat boosts, so it's worth making every Recipe at least once.

Complete Recipe List

A collage of a variety of different Recipes you can have Alice prepare you at her Conjurer Shop in Resting Town in Afterimage

Now that you have access to Conjurer Alice's Shop, you can have her prepare you some fantastic Meals that will give you excellent Buffs. Each Recipe will have a temporary and permanent Stat boost, making them crucial to get your hands on at some point during your journey.

While some Stats will only be increased by a point or two, it will add up over time, as you will raise these Stats naturally via the Talent Tree and by obtaining newer and better gear. Any little bit helps, and these Meals will help you become stronger by a decent margin if you get them all.

You can find the complete list of Recipes along with their Permanent and Temporary Boosts, allowing you to focus on the ones that would benefit you most right now while saving the others for later. Though, as mentioned earlier, you should aim to make and consume all of them at least once.
