Priority One: Rescue is the second mission in Aliens: Fireteam Elite. After making contact with Hoenikker, you need to continue your journey through the Katanga to find his hiding spot and save him from the attacking Xenomorphs.
This guide will cover everything that you need to know to complete Priority One: Rescue in Aliens: Fireteam Elite.
Priority One: Rescue Walkthrough
When Rescue begins, leave the elevator and continue through the corridor until the end. Turn left and head through the open door to find your objective.
Interact with the Network to patch in and communicate with Hoenekker. Xenomorphs will attack whilst you do this, so have your teammates defend.
Wait for Hoenekker to stop speaking and then leave through the same door you used to enter, continuing further along the corridor towards the objective.
When you reach the next room, head upstairs and across the bridge. Here, you will find an ammo box, a medkit, and a Hardened Electroshock Sentry Gun.
Place the turret down on the bridge and then release the door locks, starting the battle. Xenomorphs will storm your position, using the bridge and two open doorways on either side of the main room.
Have a member on your team defend each access point, using explosive barrels to help wipe out the attacking aliens.
After the attack, follow the objective marker out of this room and down to Deck 41. Run to the end of the next corridor and defend until Xenomorphs stop chasing you. You can then cut through the security lock and continue through into the next large chamber.
How To Repair The Valve In Priority One: Rescue
As you enter the room, Hoenekker will mention that it is well below freezing temperature. Resupply using the ammo box and medkit, and then search the three rooms marked as an objective. One of these will contain the Valve part that you need to stop the gas leak.
Attach the valve part to the pipe and crank it until the gas leak stops.
Continue through the next room, killing Xenomorphs as you make your way towards the objective. Hoenekker will mention that he keeps seeing the same Xenomorph around Katanga. Get ready, because you'll soon come face to face with this beast.
Head towards the objective and unlock the server room to initiate another battle. Hordes of Xenomorphs will scramble along the pipes. You'll need to use your abilities to hold them off, as there are considerably more Xenos here than you have battled previously.
During the fight, a special Xenomorph named Monica will charge towards you. Monica is extremely powerful, so you won't be able to kill her just yet. Avoid her attacks by rolling, and focus all of your firepower on her. Eventually, she will run away into a nearby duct.
How To Defeat Monica In Aliens: Fireteam Elite
Finish the remaining Xenomorphs and continue towards the objective. In the next room, you will find two crates.
One will contain mines, whilst the other has a drone that you can deploy to defend you. Open the crates and continue to the other side of the room, where you can signal Hoenekker and start another battle.
Set the mines up on the floor as traps for attacking Xenomorphs, but don't use the drone just yet. During the fight, Monica will return. This is where you will need to use every weapon you've got.
Activate the drone and unleash hell upon Monica. Use any and all abilities that are ready and try to lure her over mines to deal massive damage. She will disappear a few times during the fight, so keep killing other Xenomorphs until she appears again.
Everytime she enters the room, make sure that your team deals as much damage as possible. Eventually, Monica will fall and you can continue to Hoenekker, completing Priority One: Rescue.
