Once again, Twitch streamer Alinity has hit headlines after an unfortunate pet-related incident. Last week, she decided that she wanted to "show people what I have accomplished in yoga so far." This involved attempting a headstand, something she's previously done on stream. However, this time the most memorable and headline creating moment was when Luna got a little too close for comfort.

It's not the first time Alinity's dog has attempted to invade her privacy. One eagle-eyed viewer (arguably with far too much time on their hands) has gone through over a year's worth of her stream's to compile a video of such events. The montage is very weird and slightly creepy as we watch Alinity try to fend off the, at times pretty amorous, dog.

At first, Alinity laughed it off. But now she's taken to social media with an explanation, posting an article about why dogs like to sniff women's crotch's when they're on their period. This reaction is likely to be a result of some more unsavory suggestions that have been made about the incident.

In the blunt and candid tweet, she lays out the facts for those unfamiliar with these things, stating that due to her schedule she will have broadcasted for at least 48 days over the year while being on her period.

The article she also links to explains that a period can make women smell different, especially in the crotch area, and dogs, being scent driven creatures, find this incredibly interesting.

Dogs sniffing crotches isn't exactly an uncommon thing and Alinity seems to be finding the fuss about it amusing for the most part. So much so that she's promised that her next stream will involve her reading Reddit and Twitter comments with Luna.

In a tweet from December 5, she says "Tomorrow we are gonna read funny Reddit and twitter comments and celebrate the female body. Also internet-famous young female puppy dog Luna will be there. Don't miss out!"

We're unsure what celebrating the female body comprises of, but since Alinity seems immune to the ban hammer, she's probably going to be ok.
