Assassin's Creed Valhalla just got a pigeon. That's right—the mighty Asgardian feathered-friends of yore made their debut in Ubisoft's new action RPG via a promotion with Amazon Prime.

If you're an Amazon Prime subscriber and just-so-happen to own Assassin's Creed Valhalla, now's your chance to score a free pack of cosmetics. Including a mythic-quality gear set, horse mount, weapons, naval skin set, naval prop set, and of course, a pigeon skin for the raven.

You can take a look at the majestic pigeon in the tweet below.

They call this exclusive Prime deal the Carolingian Dynasty Gear pack, and it works regardless of what platform you have Assassin's Creed Valhalla on. Now to acquire all this loot, linking your Ubisoft and Amazon Prime accounts is a must. There are links and FAQs on Prime's gaming page that'll walk you through how to connect accounts, which you can find here. Once the accounts are linked, all these goodies will be in your inventory next time you open the game. A fairly straight-forward process, all told.

The star attraction is, of course, a pigeon skin for Synin, the raven. Though, it's purely a cosmetic change, as the pigeon doesn't have any special abilities, which is fair, as pigeons aren't nearly as smart as ravens. It's a bit of a shame, though, that the pigeon doesn't make the iconic cooing sounds that the bird is known for. What's the deal, Ubisoft!

Either way, this is a pretty fun little bit of cross-promotion for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and you don't have to stay subscribed to Prime to get it. A free trial, which lasts for 30 days, is enough to get the Carolingian Dynasty Gear pack. If you're one of the many vikings skulking-about ninth-century England, might as well do it with a pigeon.
