It’s been a long journey, but we’re finally here. A full 22 SNK games are now available to Amazon Prime members with the last batch of 8 arriving later this afternoon.

Those eight SNK games include The Last Blade 2, Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Metal Slug 3, Samurai Showdown V Special, The King of Fighters '97 Global Match, The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match Final Edition, The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match, and Shock Troopers.

As usual, SNK gives us a lot of fighting games with several more versions of King of Fighters and Samurai Showdown to crunch through. Metal Slug 3 is perhaps the most well-liked and definitive of the series, and Shock Troopers is remembered as the thirteenth most successful arcade game in Japan in 1998.

Amazon certainly saved the best for last, but there's still plenty of other SNK games to download. If you missed the initial release in May, you can get Art of Fighting 2, Blazing Star, Fatal Fury Special, The King of Fighters 2000 and 2002, Pulsar, and Samurai Showdown II. July's release included Metal Slug 2, Shock Troopers: 2nd Squad, Baseball Stars 2, Sengoku 3, Ironclad, The King of Monsters, and the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection.

This third and final batch concludes SNK’s big involvement with Amazon Prime. What retro company might we see Amazon partner with next for a giant free giveaway? I’m hoping it’s Koei. Daddy needs some sweet Naval Ops: Commander action.
