Watch Dogs 3 has seemingly been confirmed by an Amazon UK listing which shows that the game could be named Watch Dogs Legion.

These last few weeks have seen several Watch Dogs leaks reported all over the internet and Ubisoft is expected to announce the franchise's third installment at E3 this month. Watch Dogs has been one of the publisher's top IPs since it first released in 2014 and the upcoming title is tipped to be a hit.

The 2016 sequel, Watch Dogs 2, was well received by the masses but the game has yet to deliver on its promise, having been touted to be the open-world game that would surpass Grand Theft Auto 5.

Anyhoo, a listing popped up on Amazon UK recently, revealing that the next Watch Dogs could drop the traditional numeral in favor of the word "Legion." TNM has confirmed that the listing does belong to Ubisoft, which means that someone from the company did put it up on the Amazon store. Have a look below.

The listing also offers details on the title's setting and gameplay.

"Watch_Dogs Legion is set in a near-future, dystopian version of London," it reads. "It’s a post-Brexit world in which society, politics and technology have changed and altered London’s fortunes. London is one of the most iconic cities in the world and has had a massive influence on all of Western Culture for centuries… London makes total sense for WD, as the city has one of the highest surveillance levels in the world making this the perfect playground.

"Play as anyone, Every individual you meet in the open world, has a full set of animations, voice over, character traits and visuals that are generated & guided by gameplay systems."

That last part is a bit vague but it seems to suggest that there won't be a sole protagonist in the game. This does contradict previous reports claiming that the upcoming Watch Dogs title will feature a female as the main playable character and it might prove to be a hard sell if that's really the case.

While this leak does appear to be a solid one, we will know for sure when Ubisoft drops their reveal at E3 next week.
