The new Radeon RX 6000 GPU is huge. Probably. It’s hard to tell because it’s just an image on a flat background, but it’s got three fans and needs two power plugs, so that’s gotta mean something.

Just as the next-gen console wars are heating up, so too are the next-gen video card wars. Nvidia fired the first salvo at the beginning of the month when they released info on their next-gen series of GPUs. The RTX 30-series will have the 3090, 3080, and 3070 all arrive before the end of the year with prices and performance that are a generational leap beyond their predecessors.

AMD will fire back at the end of October with a presentation of their own, but in the meantime, we get to see a few official teaser images of just what the new Radeon RX 6000 card will look like. And it looks big.

It’s a bit hard to tell just how big the Radeon RX 6000 truly is just from the image alone, but it does have three fans and two power plugs along the side, which are sure indicators that it’s going to take a lot of juice and consequently produce a lot of heat. Radeon says on Twitter than the RX 6000 "will feature a brand new cooler design, and you can study every angle yourself on our Fortnite Creative Island.”

Yes, there's a Fortnite Creative Island where you can check out a giant version of the Radeon RX 6000. We're sure that the real-life version of the card won't be large enough to squish your house, but you never know with these next-gen GPUs.

All jokes aside, the RX 6000 looks to be roughly the same size as the upcoming Nvidia RTX 3090, which is a ginormous video card. Definitely don't bother getting one of these bad boys if you've got a micro or even a regular-sized case since there's a very good chance your brand new video card won't fit.

We’ll find out for sure when AMD hosts their livestream event at the end of October.
