It was rumored that Among Us VR could launch before the end of the year, and now it's been confirmed. InnerSloth has announced that Among Us VR will actually launch later this year and that the game will drop on Oculus Quest 2 during the holiday period. Alongside the announcement, we also got a new trailer for the title, giving us a more in-depth look at some of the gameplay.

The trailer has players running around the original spaceship map, this time from a first-person perspective. You'll be able to use your controllers to complete tasks, kill other players, and even point your finger accusingly at those you think are pretty sus. One part of the trailer shows us that players will be able to spy on other players through vents as Among US VR genuinely looks to be a lot creepier than the standard version.

A specific release date unfortunately wasn't revealed but InnerSloth promises that game will launch before the end of the year during the holiday period. However, it was revealed that Among Us VR was recently listed on the Steam Database for a November 10 release, a date which would line up with today's announcement. It's best to wait until official confirmation though as this could just be a placeholder.

We got the new trailer for Among Us VR at the Meta Quest showcase earlier today, featuring a bunch of new and exciting titles headed to the Oculus Quest 2 later this year. A new, action-packed trailer for The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners - Chapter 2: Retribution was revealed to kick things off, with an in-depth look at Moss Book 2 on Quest 2 also included in the line-up.

Probably the highlight of the show for many was the shadow drop of Resident Evil 4 VR's Mercenaries mode which is available to download right now as a free update for those who already own the title. Mercenaries on the VR version of Resident Evil 4 looks to include a few twists, including Quest 2 exclusive leaderboards and a series of different costumes for each character.
