Twitch streamer Amouranth doesn't have a contract with it or its biggest competitor, YouTube, despite being the top female streamer and the only woman in the 100 most-watched. In a recent interview with FullSquadGaming, she said she believed the reason to be that she's "not brand-friendly."

As reported by Dextero, Amouranth also theorised it was because she didn't have much experience hosting big events, something YouTube seems to favour in its streamers and that she has "only dabbled in with Streamer Royale earlier this year."

Despite being the most-watched woman on the platform, she said "I’m not quite there yet I think, for what they’re looking for." Amouranth has been at the centre of a few Twitch controversies, such as the hot tub meta and the fart meta, even selling jars of her own farts - all things skittish brands and advertisers shy away from. Not gambling though, that's fine.

Amouranth did reveal that while Twitch and YouTube haven't come knocking, she has been offered "multi-million dollar" contracts for adult streaming platforms. She recently announced that she was cleaning house at her OnlyFans agency though, so she's probably staying there for the time being.

In October, Amouranth shared abusive voicemails from her husband live on stream to shed light on her domestic situation. He apparently had control of her businesses and finances and forced her to keep their relationship a secret for the sake of her brand, but she has since gotten control of everything and said she's "feeling human again."

In other Twitch news, highly paid streamers xQc and Kai Cenat admitted that they don't pay their moderators because they "watch out of passion." xQc said, "It’s not about doing it for free, I just don’t want it to become weird," with Kai Cenat adding, "y’all volunteering to do shit for free."

Pokimane also shared a story about how she was almost scammed into sending nude pictures to someone posing as an underwear brand employee via email. She encourages influencers to keep their wits about them to avoid falling for such ruses.
