We have all seen the wonderful memes of Isabelle helping Doom Guy with his mission. The happy dog always looks so thrilled to be taking down the monsters in Hell while her towering best friend relaxes in the grassy countryside. Many players even wonder if the characters should swap games for a few days to get a vacation from their normal lives.

While Hell may not seem like a place for Isabelle, there are quite a few things that make us feel like this seemingly sweet character would enjoy her time there a little too much. We also learned some horrifying details about Isabelle's true power and have written this to let you the ten reasons Animal Crossing's most famous resident could survive Doom Eternal's Hell.

10 She Can Kill With A Fishing Rod

Nintendo has a history of making fishing rods a valuable weapon in harsh battles. Isabelle's skill with a rod goes a little farther, though. The character can get the rod to hook into characters with ease, and then no matter what their weight, she can throw them around like it's nothing.

This isn't a one time move either, as Isabelle can sling enemies around again and again without even breaking a sweat. We don't know of any other video game characters who can kill with a simple fishing rod, and this makes us horrified of her true power.

9 She Can Survive Lava

Compared to most other Nintendo characters, this is pretty normal, in all honesty. Isabelle is shown to be able to fall directly into the lava and not die. Going on the fact that Hell is a rather hot place, we think this ability would be to her advantage.

What other dogs can fall into a pit of molten lave and not find themselves losing their life while being burnt to a crisp? None? Thought so. While we do know that she isn't a fan of the heat according to dialogue from the Animal Crossing games, she can certainly survive it with ease.

8 She's Calm Under Pressure

Whether it be small-town politics or staring at the king of evil, Isabelle doesn't seem to crack under pressure. She always knows just what to do to handle the mayor's troubles, and isn't bothered at all about having to fight in strange new terrains.

We seriously wonder what Isabelle may have done before she started working at the mayor's office because this dog has nerves of steel. We could totally picture Isabelle taking part in a great war in the Animal Crossing universe, just based on her creepily calm composure.

7 She Smiles Through a Fight

If you pay attention to Isabelle while she is in the middle of a fight, you will notice something highly disturbing. She is almost always smiling no matter what she is doing to her opponents. She even can celebrate when she cruelly pushes them into lasers or is even torturing them with her strange arsenal of weapons. Sometimes it's not even a normal smile, but a full-on grin!

Most of the other fighters look serious instead of having a happy grin on their face like Isabelle does, and we can honestly say that we find this truly disturbing.

6 She Can Turn Anything Into A Weapon

Look, we know that there have been some strange weapons throughout video game history, but Isabelle takes this to another level. This cute character can beat other characters down with a broom and injure them with a party popper.

The ability to turn such everyday items into a weapon makes us think that Isabelle could find a way to kill the demons of hell with literally anything she could get her hands on. It's not every day that someone finds a way to sweep their opponents to death by using the most innocuous objects around and look happy while they're doing it.

5 She May Be a Sociopath

Look, we don't know of many sane people who can do the things that Isabelle does on this list. We can only conclude that it is highly likely that she is a sociopath who only cares about herself and revels in the pain of others. It's even highly possible that she works at a government office in order to observe and control the lives of her fellow villagers from behind the scenes!

Even the fact that she smiles while inflicting pain is a good indication that something isn't right in this seemingly cute and innocent dog's brain.

4 She Can Erase a Whole Town

When you load up your Animal Crossing save, you can choose to completely start over by erasing your town. By this, we mean you tell Isabelle that you want a fresh start, and she will do it for you. In fact, she is one of the only characters other than the staples that is guaranteed to show up in your town.

What exactly does she do to get rid of everyone and wipe an entire community off the map? We're not sure if we're glad that we don't know what goes on behind the scenes. Even more, if she knows how to wipe a town, then it's likely because she has already done it many times before!

3 She Likes Torture

While this is only in-game dialogue, some players will never see Isabelle's dark side until it's too late. If you go to her to complain about another villager, she may offer some choice ideas on how to punish them. These ideas include making them eat soap and forcing them to wear a barrel out in public for a day.

She says she is just joking, but when she is making the suggestions, she has a big smile on her face that doesn't change through any part of the dialogue. This makes us wonder just how much joy she would get out of legally being able to torture the other villagers in town.

2 The Other Villages Do as She Says

On the same note, Isabelle also takes care of the problems for you through unspecified means. You can even tell her you don't like the way someone is dressing and the next day they will have a change of clothes. This is a bit creepy as neither she nor the affected villager seems to talk about what transpired in the meeting to force them to completely change their style.

While it can be theorized that everyone just has that much respect for Isabelle, it's weird we never see anyone hanging out with her in the town hall if that's the case.

1 She's Probably Immortal

As most of you probably know, you can change the clock on Animal Crossing to a different day to get new activities to do. Many players have experimented with raising their clock to the latest possible timeslot and found that the villagers don't age, including Isabelle.

In fact, it seems like they are aware of the time that has passed. Other than missing you and refusing to clean the town of weeds, they seem virtually unaffected by the passage of time. This leads us to believe every character in the universe is immortal, or at least ages incredibly slowly.

Now imagine an immortal Isabelle, but with all of the aforementioned attributes in this list. If those don't show that she can survive in Hell and lay waste to it, we don't know what else they're proof of.
