Sure, it's not weird being the only human in town, surrounded by civilized animals dressed up and walking on two legs. Not weird at all. In fact, that's what makes Animal Crossing so darn cute! It's all about making life comfy and safe for the animal denizens of your town, island, or campgrounds...whatever game you're playing.

What would the Animal Crossing world look like, however, if all our favorite animals were human? They're already humanoid as is, but how dashing would they be if we took away the snouts and trunks, tails and ears (well, maybe not the ears). Fans of the game have taken to brushes and pens to channel the animal energy into a human character and here are! These are some of the cutest animals of Animal Crossing turned human for your pleasure.

10 Freya By Lumaerix

This chibi human form of the wolf Freya by Lumaerix is adorable. It catches Freya's attitude with her messy pink hair, large yellow eyes, and fangs. Freya is an interesting character in the games because although she appears charming and pleasant, her theme is cool, not cute. In the mobile game, she mentions taking her bike out, which fits her cool theme and the cool tent you need to construct in order to boost her friendship points has a bike and helmet resting outside it. She's not all she appears to be and something about Lumaerix's human Freya portrays that attitude.

9 Isabelle By Joaoppereiraus

Oh, Isabelle. The beloved assistant to the main character, Isabelle is hardworking, sweet, and all-around cute beyond words. She is always around to answer questions and help out. Joaoppereiraus has done an incredible job of capturing Isabelle's character in human form. If Isabelle were human, one could imagine this is exactly how she would look. The clipboard is a nice touch as she can always be seen with it in hand. Despite being human, Joaoppereiraus kept her iconic front tooth. It almost makes her look a little naive, but her determination to always help the player and town overshadows her more innocent nature.

8 Tom Nook By DC9spot

The dastardly crook, Tom Nook. Always out to make the most bang for his buck, this major Animal Crossing character has managed to build a bad reputation with players for charging incredible amounts of money (eh, bells) for houses and vacations and such. DC9spot drew an interesting human version of the character.

This Tom Nook looks pretty young, whereas the animal Tom Nook always seemed a bit older. Still, DC9spot didn't shy away from the big boss look. Even as a young man, this Tom Nook looks like he's just as scheming as his animal counterpart. Looks a little like a mafia man, too.

7 Muffy By Sketchbooklyn

Muffy is well known for her elegant, gothic style. Her catchphrase "nightshade" is both unique and endearing, and a little weird–no one is here to judge, though. Sketchbooklyn beautifully captured Muffy's appearance in human form, adding to her goth fashion and turned her horns into earmuffs, as her name suggests. Though Muffy cares about her appearances, she is tough and can be found giving fighting advice to the player from time to time. Her human form is likewise cute but her eyes suggest she could turn that umbrella into a weapon if she had to.

6 Goldie By Lunarmorte

Goldie is a normal golden retriever/lab and has shown up in every Animal Crossing game to date. She is probably one of the easiest animals to befriend and gets along well with most other animals. Don't let her basic appearance and attitude fool you, however. In the mobile game, Pocket Camp, Goldie is known for natural fur and appealing aroma. Lunamorte has created the human version of Goldie and it matches perfectly with the animal. Everything about this human emanates natural beauty and it was a cute call to add her dog version on her shoulder.

5 Rosie By Chariko

Going along with the theme of having the animal version paired with the human version, Chariko created a human Rosie posing with her animal character. Rosie is known for wanting to be an actress, even going so far as to say main character lines during her side character additions.

She's got ambition that attracts lots of attention and is a type of town celebrity. She's one of those easy-to-get-along with villagers and one of the cutest. Her human version may look pretty young, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have talent.

4 Julian And Rolf By Mediocredoots

Two very, very different characters, Mediocredoots has showcased their favorite Animal Crossing characters as humans and the juxtaposition is amusing. On the one hand, there's Julian, a smug pretty boy-unicorn who likes astronomy and eyeshadow. Rolf, on the other hand, is a cranky cat, a little more difficult to befriend, and abhors peppy villagers. Mediocredoots did a good job of capturing both attitudes in these characters. A smiling Julian, who appears to be trying to hide an inside joke, paired with a grumpy Rolf is an interesting pair and could make for good comedy.

3 Diana and Beau By Riingocha

Diana and Beau are two cuties who show up to town (or camp or island) and are pretty easy to befriend. Beau is a lazy antelope who enjoys hobbies and food while Diana is a snooty little doe who enjoys talking about other animal's fashion. Riingocha drew these characters as humans, possibly a couple, and one has to admit, it's cute. Though snobby and chic, Diana isn't mean and her matching up with Beau, a common lazy boy, would be a story to tell. Riingocha did a wonderful job of turning them into humans that match their personalities.

2 K.K. Slider By Vasira96

A hippie musician/DJ with a smooth way of talking and chill attitude K.K. Slider is a white dog who appears in every Animal Crossing game. As a special character and not a villager per se, K.K. Slider will not own a home or celebrate his birthday. He can be seen performing in his usual spots and has a deep passion for music and live performances.

One of the most well-known characters, K.K. Slider makes the world of Animal Crossing a cool place to be. Vasira96 was able to create the perfect human version of K.K. Slider. Young and hip, this human version looks like he can command a stage and play for an intimate setting. Any music scene is his scene.

1 Fang By Lupoartistico

Fang is another Animal Crossing wolf who is modeled after Siberian wolves. He is cranky, likes competitions and hates when the player disagrees with him. If he doesn't wear bold or dark colors, he can easily blend in with a snowy, winter backdrop. Lupoartistico's human version Fang is simple and cozy. The purple around his eyes could be mistaken for eyeshadow, but it almost shows how pale Fang is and how the cold affects him. He seems to be permanently locked in a winter chill even when it is spring which perhaps could be why he is so cranky all the time.
