The Happy Home Paradise DLC for Animal Crossing: New Horizons has added a ton of new features and items to the game. From designing vacation homes to new decorations and furniture, the DLC has something for everyone. Now, it looks like the game is adding an unexpected NSFW feature to that list as some players have reported that their family-friendly villagers have suddenly turned into nudists. What must Tom Nook be thinking?

Normally every villager, besides the unabashedly confident KK Slider, wears clothing. One of the biggest features of the game is the ability to design clothes and outfit the villagers in unique duds. It is quite the thrill to gift that annoying villager a truly hideous shirt you designed and then laugh as they strut around the island in it.

However, some players are visiting their villagers, only to find their residents strutting around completely nude and completely unashamed. While Eurogamer noticed this to happen primarily in Brewster’s newly added café, some players are witnessing their villagers in the buff in a variety of locations.

Of course, this sudden turn to voyeurism is not a feature of the DLC but a glitch affecting some islands. The naked inhibitions of villagers seem to have been introduced along with the recent Happy Home Paradise DLC and 2.0 update where the café was introduced. The bug is likely messing with the part of the game that deals with creating and sharing custom designs, though Nintendo has yet to comment on or fix the issue.

In the meantime, players don’t seem to mind the naked intrusion. People are sharing their favourite nude encounters all over social media. The Happy Home Paradise DLC is available now for Animal Crossing: New Horizon and will set you back $24.99 or is included in the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription. Just be warned, you may be getting more than just home renovations and a coffee shop.
