Continuing our series of bizarre video game franchise crossovers, here’s a bunch of codes that let you dress up as your favorite Borderlands characters in New Horizons.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a wholesome game. There’s no violence (except possibly against fish), you can easily work your way out of debt, and you build relationships with adorable anthropomorphized animal creatures.

Borderlands is… none of that. You murder everyone in sight, steal their loot, and get charged an ungodly amount to resurrect yourself every time you die. That and there’s a whole lot of cursing and explicit material. Oh, and blood. A lot of that too.

You don’t normally expect to see a lot of crossover between Animal Crossing and Borderlands fans, but 2020 is a strange year making for strange bedfellows. Or maybe we’re just being a little judgemental of the average Borderlands fan.

Anyway, here’s a bunch of codes for you to dress up as your favorite Borderlands character. Yes, Handsome Jack is in there too.

Scooter and Claptrap (Borderlands 1 and 2)

This package of costumes comes courtesy of Twitter user Logan Galloway, a Borderlands fan that has treated us to a collection of different cosmetic items. We'll start with Scooter's hat and a top that makes you look like Claptrap without an antenna.

Fiona and Rhys (Tales from the Borderlands)

And Telltale fans in the audience? These costumes will let you look just like Fiona and Rhys from Tales from the Borderlands. Vault key not included.

Maya and Athena (Borderlands 2, Borderlands The Pre-Sequel)

A Siren and an ex-Atlas assassin make for a pair of deadly damsels.

Zer0 and Rhys (Borderlands 3)

An unlikely pair of Atlas employees comes together in this ensemble. You'll have to talk only in Haiku if you dress up as Zer0 though.

Gaige and Angel (Borderlands 2)

Angel is going to be a throwback for true Borderlands fans, while Gaige is a beloved Borderlands 2 character that completely broke the game upon her release.

Tiny Tina and Timothy Lawrence (Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel)

Speaking of beloved characters, there's none more beloved than Tiny Tina. Here's her Borderlands 2 costume along with the Doppelganger class from The Pre-Sequel.

Zane (Borderlands 3)

Zane's Irish accent and hilarious quips are really growing on me in Borderlands 3. Dress up as the operative in this ensemble.

Handsome Jack (Borderlands 2)

Perhaps the greatest villain in video game history, complete with invisibility and doppelganger-producing pocket watch. This one's done by Twitter user Jason Moniz.

Borderlands T-Shirt

And if you're just a fan of the series, here's a t-shirt that will let everyone on your island know how much you love Borderlands.
