The breakout anime series Demon Slayer is coming to Animal Crossing New Horizons by way of character inspired attire. Let's face it. There's little that pairs better than cute animals and stylish manga.
Spanning from demon slayer Tanjiro's checkered print robes to the demon Douma's darkly elegant ensemble, we have eight codes for various character outfits, so let's get right into it.
To start, there's the perpetually laidback Shinobu Kocho. Players who are fond of her semblance to an iridescent butterfly will want to grab this code for sure.
If butterflies don't fit the bill, how about embodying the hulking strength of Himejima Haori?
There's also the option of dressing like the sorrow-eyed Zenitsu. This feint-hearted hero is one of Tanjiro's travel companions and fellow demon slayers. Though he's a bit cowardly and overzealous with women, his vibrant orange robes are nonetheless adorable.
There are two outfit codes for Demon Slayer's main protagonist, Tanjiro. This one admittedly leaves a lot to be desired in the way of virtual cosplay. However, its brighter color scheme is still a solid choice for players looking to stand out.
The second outfit choice for Tanjiro hits every checkmark. Well, except for his name. The mistitling is a hilarious shout out to the pigheaded Taryn's mispronunciation of the demon slayer's name.
The selection wouldn't be complete without Nezuko's pink and black ensemble. Tanjiro's demon-turned sister wears a flowing black robe and detailed kimono with a checkered sash that compliments her brother's green and black checkered robe. Admittedly the Animal Crossing edition of this outfit doesn't perfectly emulate the intricacies of Nezuko's kimono. However, it does get across the demon girl's soft color scheme with a dark twist and looks fabulous regardless.
For the more antagonistic players, there's the elegantly bloody ensemble of the Twelve Demon Moons' Douma. This outfit is a near-perfect reiteration of the rainbow-eyed demon's darkly sophisticated style.
How about the eerily ghost-like demon Rui, instead? There's a code for that as well. The Animal Crossing recreation substitutes the bloody red circles for diamonds and the webbing details for a more mandala-like pattern. Still, it overall gives off the same insidiously bone-chilling vibes.
These outfits will bring some seriously demonic vibes to the islands of demons and demon slayers alike. There's no word when Demon Slayer's second season will arrive, but now players can bide the time with some virtual cosplay until season two comes to light.
