There are costumes available for Animal Crossing: New Horizons that let players turn their villager's island into Greed Island, as some crafty players have created outfits that resemble the ones worn by the main characters of Hunter x Hunter.

Hunter x Hunter is one of the best anime/manga series of all time and people who haven't experienced it should remedy that as soon as possible. The series follows a young boy named Gon and his friends, as they take on the role of hunters. Hunter x Hunter uses a contemporary setting with supernatural elements, and it's the role of hunters to master the mysterious power known as Nen, in order to prepare them for dangerous jobs such as searching for priceless treasures or fighting powerful monsters.

Hunter x Hunter might be enduring one of its longest hiatuses of all time, but fans can continue the story with their friends in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and pretend their island is actually the Dark Continent. This way they can prepare for when the characters in Hunter x Hunter actually reach the Dark Continent in 2040.

Hisoka

Everyone's favorite murder clown can now be played in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The properties of bungee rope and gum can be yours, assuming the Spiders don't get to you first.

Kurapika

Kurapika is a moody guy, but you can pretend that the people in his village weren't brutally murdered and that he lived a happy life with Tom Nook and his pals instead.

Killua

Killua wears some of the most normal outfits in Hunter x Hunter, even though he has one of the most unusual backstories in the series. Unfortunately, there are no yo-yos in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, so you can't complete his look.

Gon

You can rep the (sort of) main character of Hunter x Hunter with a Gon costume in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. There are plenty of fishing rods to be had, but you probably won't be able to make any giant haircuts from that one transformation he used in the Chimera Ants arc.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now for Nintendo Switch.
