One of the best parts of any Animal Crossing game is the ability to design and decorate your player home. From expanding your house, buying furniture to decorate, and finding the perfect wallpaper and flooring to go with each room, players have the ultimate freedom when it comes to customizing the home of their dreams.

But are you looking for a quick and easy way to give your home that extra bit of flair that can't be found in any of your other villagers' homes? Why not try adding a loft to give it some dimension and edge?

While there's currently no way to legitimately add steps or levels in a room within the world of New Horizons, one clever and innovative interior designer has figured out how to do just that.

Animal Crossing player and Twitter user @yamaji_maya posted an image of her stylish player home, complete with a white wooden loft in the back. In her tweet, she explained how she was able to "build" the loft, revealing that it's nothing more than an optical illusion made from her custom designs. Luckily, she has shared her design codes so players can add their own loft to spruce up their homes.

If a white wooden loft isn't your thing, try out this gorgeous pink one instead. It's a great option if you're still trying to figure out a way to display all your leftover Bunny Day furniture as well as cherry blossom items.

Or, if you're looking for something that also could function as an outdoor patio, @yamaji_maya's even made some codes for a classic wooden loft. Both options look great as interior or exterior designs, as evidenced in the photos below.

Even though this "loft" is merely an optical illusion, it just shows how creative Animal Crossing players can be when it comes to designing the virtual home of their dreams.
