You can have some real fun with this new fan-made tool for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, as it lets you discover and explore Dream Islands which you may never have otherwise had the opportunity to.

Animal Crossing New Horizons Dreaming Guide

Firstly, for those new to New Horizons you may not know exactly what the deal is with the whole dream island thing (for those who do, skip down a bit to read about how to use the new tool). The recent 1.4.0 update for the game introduced a Dream Suite function to the game, which allows you to visit so-called Dream Islands created by fellow players.

Each Dream Island created and uploaded online generates a unique Dream Address which other players use to find and visit that island. You can do so by making your avatar go to sleep, at which point you'll be able to visit the dream world where a character called Luna will offer you the opportunity to visit other people's dream islands. Simply input the unique Dream Address when prompted and you'll be on your way in no time.

Using The Random Dream Code Tool

If you're fresh out of ideas for which Dream Islands to visit next, the Random Dream Code Tool is just for you! Just hop onto the Crossing Channel website and click on the "Dream Another Dream" button, which will retrieve a random Dream Address from the database of addresses which other players have added to via the website. Then, once you have your newly-generated address, head back into your game and follow the steps above to visit that island!

If you want to add your own Dream Island to this database so more New Horizons players can get the opportunity to visit it, simply input your Dream Address into the "Add Your Island" field.

Happy dreaming!
