Each of the different personality types presented to players for villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is well-loved by different types of fans, and of course with each personality type will come fan-favorites. Especially in the newest entry, interacting with the different personality types and getting to know them feels rewarding, and today we'll be focusing on the Snooty type. While quick to gossip and jab at others while acting mature and elegant, they're quite friendly once time is spent with them, and many have great designs.

With that, let's take a look at the ten most sought-after Snooty villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

10 Olivia

Animal Crossing New Horizons Olivia

Olivia starts off the list, being one of two Snooty cats on today's list, and arguably the plainer of the two. Her fur is pure-white while her tail, paws and ears are tipped with a deep crimson. She does accent her face with purple eyeshadow, which isn't a bad look for her, all things considered. Olivia's palette works quite well and she certainly gives off the air of elegance that her personality type is known for.

She just ends up seeming a bit basic compared to designs higher up on the list, making her a little easier to pass on. She's still adorably savage, though, and will roast other villagers in conversations, which is admittedly entertaining.

9 Blanche

Animal Crossing New Horizons Blanche

Blanche is the only ostrich on this list and another good example of a Snooty villager whose design perfectly radiates the very essence of their personality type. Before even speaking to her, she gives off a refined and sophisticated aura, and the interior of her house (which resembles a traditional tea room) only serves to reinforce this further.

Her name means "white" in french, a clear reference to her snow-white feathers, and much like the purity that snow tends to represent, there's a pure heart of gold lying underneath her exterior, once one really gets to know her.

8 Vivian

Animal Crossing New Horizons Vivian

Vivian is one of a few wolves on this list, but that doesn't take away from the individual charm that she exudes. Though she rocks dark eyeshadow that tends to be common of Snooty villagers, most of her appearance gives off the impression that she'd be more of a Normal or even Sisterly villager which ranks her a bit lower. Her cheeks, tail, paws, and ear-tips being dusted with dark brown to accent her caramel fur is a cute touch, and her outfit does have a refined aura.

She used to be an Animal Forest e+ exclusive villager, but was later added to New Leaf in the form of the Welcome Amiibo update, and came through once again in New Horizons. It's great to see that they included her as her design is simply adorable.

7 Freya

Animal Crossing New Horizons Freya

Freya is another wolf that knows how to rock eyeshadow, and her bubblegum pink palette perfectly pops, accented with a lovely cream that helps stop the brighter colors from becoming too overwhelming. Since Animal Forest e+, she's appeared in every title aside from Wild World and it's great to see her back in the newest entry. She's another Snooty villager who gives off the vibe that she'd probably be Sisterly or Normal, given her appearance, but it's refreshing that not all Snooty villagers share the exact same visual traits.

Her name comes from the Norse goddess of beauty, Freyja, and they certainly did her justice with just how eye-catching her palette is.

6 Willow

Animal Crossing New Horizons Willow

Willow is another one out of the Snooty cast of villagers that has quite the vivid, eye-catching palette. It seems quite common for Snooty types to either present in white, elegant tones, or bright tones that are incredibly attention-drawing and hard to miss, and both fit the type quite well. Willow is painted in primarily yellow, with shades of bright and soft pink accenting her little horns.

Her catchphrase, bo peep, is a reference to the Little Bo Peep nursery rhyme, and her Japanese name of Marie might also be a reference to "Mary Had A Little Lamb." It's great to see all these references being called to in such creative ways, and with such a cute villager.

5 Francine

Animal Crossing New Horizons Francine

Francine, pictured on the left beside her pastel-pink sister Chrissy, is part of the only pair of twins to grace Animal Crossing so far. She's an adorable Snooty rabbit, while her sister is Peppy, and it almost feels as if one can't be had without the other. Francine's baby-blue and white palette works incredibly well for her, and it helps this pair stand out as two of the most unique rabbits in the series.

Her catchphrase, "karat", is a homophone of the vegetable carrot, as well as carat, which is a way to measure gold purity. The former ties into her species while the latter does a great creative job of hinting at her personality type. She also loves her sister dearly, as her home request is a shrine dedicated to her, which is equally sweet and kind of creepy... in an endearing sort of way.

4 Whitney

Animal Crossing New Horizons Whitney

Whitney is the third and most sought-after wolf on today's list, and she's another Snooty type whose fur is near pure-white. However, it has more of a logical purpose in Whitney's case, as she is an arctic wolf. The ends of her cheeks, insides of her ears, toes, and tail are frosted a light, icy-blue, which works wonderfully and helps set her apart instead of just being pure-white.

Her starting dress gives off an air of almost casual elegance, and though she can have the same arrogant personality as the other Snooty villagers, she almost seems like she'd be at least a bit easier to approach.

3 Ankha

Animal Crossing New Horizons Ankha 2

Ankha isn't just one of the most sought-after Snooty villagers, but she's been one of the most popular cats in every game she's made an appearance in. Her royal appearance, as well as the real-life cats she was based off, help lend to the vibe that she's incredibly snooty and holds others to relatively high standards. She was based on the Abyssinian breed of cats. Interestingly, mummified cats in Egyptian tombs have been studied and found to have similar characteristics.

She really does a perfect job of screaming that royal Egyptian vibe as soon as eyes are laid upon her, from her color palette and Egyptian-like eyeliner to the serpentine headpiece that she dons.

2 Diana

Animal Crossing New Horizons Diana

Diana is the only Snooty Deer to grace Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and they truly nailed everything about her design. She perfectly communicates her personality while also managing to be as cute as a button with little to no effort. Her fur is pure-white while both her ears and hooves follow a pink-outside, blue-inside color scheme. Little splashes of purple can also be found at the base of her ears to better match the little lilac swirl atop her head, and everything combined with her beautiful starting dress makes her near irresistible to fans of this type.

1 Judy

Animal Crossing New Horizons Judy 2

While there aren't too many new villagers in New Horizons, it's easily excused by the mere fact that the new designs we did get are absolutely perfect. The number-one spot, Judy, is a perfect example of this, being a pastel blue-and-pink bear who really knows how to rock her bright-blue eyeliner. Her face is splashed with a generous amount of white to keep the pastel colors from washing her out, and the pink-and-white ribbon dress she starts out with is nothing short of magical.

She also doesn't have an Amiibo, being one of the newcomers, so it's harder to get her than most and thus makes people desire her all the more.
