Although we haven't even wrapped March up quite yet, we know that you Animal Crossing: New Horizons players are a forward-thinking bunch. If you'd like to be as prepared as possible when it comes to collecting all the sea creatures that the game has to offer, then you're in the right place.
There aren't many sea creatures migrating away from our islands at the end of April, but some of them are super valuable so best keep your eyes peeled and your nets at the ready! We've split up the lists according to which are leaving Northern or Southern Hemisphere islands, so read on to find out which apply to you!
Sea Creatures Leaving After April: Northern Hemisphere
As you can see, not many sea creatures are leaving your Northern Hemisphere oceans after April. But you'll definitely want to do everything you can to catch at least one of the two crabs which are on their way out, as they're both worth a pretty penny (or Bell, rather).
Here are the three sea creatures leaving at the end of April, along with their value in Bells, their shadow size, swimming speed, and when you can expect to find them:
- Sea Cucumber - 500 Bells | Medium | Very Slow | All Day
- Snow Crab - 6,000 Bells | Large | Fast | All Day
- Spider Crab - 12,000 Bells | Huge | Quick | All Day
Luckily they're not picky with which times of day they come out to play, so you'll have all day to comb through your shoreline to find them!
Sea Creatures Leaving After April: Southern Hemisphere
Southern Hemisphere islanders will only be saying goodbye to two sea creatures at the end of April, and you're certainly not going to want to miss out on either of them! The slippery Giant Isopod can fetch you 12,000 Bells if you decide to sell it, and the somewhat slower Spotted Garden Eel is equal parts valuable and adorable.
So here are the two sea creatures leaving at the end of next month, along with their value in Bells, their shadow size, swimming speed, and when you can expect to find them:
- Giant Isopod - 12,000 Bells | Medium | Fast | 9 AM - 4 PM, 9 PM - 4 AM
- Spotted Garden Eel - 1,100 Bells | Small | Slow | 4 AM - 9 PM
