By gigantic, we mean fans are selling him for top dollar in the Animal Crossing online black market. Players are hoarding Nook Mile tickets and visit hundreds of islands in order to find Raymond and get him living on their islands. With such a craze, some fans are also beginning to hate Raymond. They just dislike him because they don't understand why everyone loves him so much and won't shut up about him. This gave rise to a lot of memes about the Raymond obsession.
