This Animal Crossing: New Horizons player posted a brilliant storage method for her precious turnips on Reddit. u/carly_kins may still have to wait for that perfect turnip price but at least they won’t be cluttering up the island in the meantime.

Turnips are essentially the Animal Crossing equivalent of the stock market. Each Sunday, players can buy bushels of turnips from Daisy Mae and sell them back to the Nook brothers, the trick is waiting for the price to be just right in order to turn a profit. And if island prices are really good, you might just be lucky enough to lure a celebrity to market.

Clever ways of storing the vegetables has been a popular discussion for players, but u/carly_kins might have taken the cake with this turnip vault. An entire room in the Reddit user’s house is dedicated to the storage and protection of the turnips. Decked out like a bank vault, the room contains iron tables, security cameras, a few bars on the walls, and a rug shaped like a big bag of bells to make things a little homier.

Turnips are a hot ticket item in New Horizons and this design is sure to inspire players all over the place to keep their veggies locked up in style.
