My Hero Academia's Deku has had a tough climb to succeed All Might, and with all those workouts, he needs a solid playlist to keep him going. Here are some of the tracks we think the world's next Symbol of Peace would listen to while pumping iron. The playlist takes an electronic/rock approach as Yuki Hayashi's theme for Deku is like that in nature. His taste in music would probably be similar.

Motivational Workout Songs

As Deku's running for miles and miles, his body feels sluggish as the late-night study sessions come back to haunt him. At this point, music could be incredibly important to keep him motivated. Tracks like "Finale" by Madeon & Nicholas Petricca, "Right Here, Right Now" by Fatboy Slim, and "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" by Daft Punk would keep him wanting to fight for that ultimate workout.

"Friction" by Imagine Dragons would also remind him of the severity of the situation; he needs to become the next Symbol of Peace, and with that comes extra work. "I'm Shipping Up To Boston" by Dropkick Murphys would keep the competitive spirit he shows while in class and tournaments.

"Lionhearted" by Porter Robinson could be a reminder that Deku has to fight the tyranny of the villains who are rising up from All Might's dwindling power as the Symbol of Peace. He'll have "to finish what [All Might] started" as he takes over this important role in society from him. He's promising to himself that the villains "will fall."

Keeping the Dream Alive

Deku used to be afraid of his own success, afraid of the unknown, but as the seasons progressed, he became more confident in his abilities and his "borrowed quirk." "No Fear No More" by Madeon would tell him to keep diving in headfirst into situations without fear, "Rising Hope" by Lisa inspires him to keep moving forward and not be the shy quirkless boy he was before, and the cover of "Endless Possibilities" by Emi Jones & Jesse Pajamas would remind him that his dream of becoming the #1 hero can be grasped.

"Someone To You" by BANNERS, while romantic in tone would still connect with Izuku "Deku" Midoriya. Ever since he was a kid, he's always wanted to be a hero and for most of his life, that was in limbo without a quirk. Like All Might in the video he loves to watch over and over again, he wants to smile in dire situations and leave an impression on people. He wants to let people know that they're safe. Being that guardian means a lot to Deku, as we see when he saves Eri and Kota; he'll do anything to make people happy.

Upbeat personality = Upbeat songs

Deku, overall, is a super happy dude, so he'd listen to songs that would match his upbeat nature. The Go Team's "Huddle Formation" is the perfect track to wake up to and get you moving. This cover of "Can't Stop The Feeling" by Saxity & Angie K has an uplifting beat to it with a saxophone element. Deku actually shows he plays the trumpet at the end of the Starmaker OP6 so he'd dig a bit a brass. "The Walker" by Fitz and The Tantrums resembles Deku because he moves without thinking, "walks by the sound of [his] own drum," and he's a big daydreamer.
