The Last Of Us remake keeps leaking, oozing out footage and details like a clicker's pus-like bite which one has to avoid lest its infected matter turns Joel into a goner. This weekend the latest leak has been making its way around social media, with a significant cutscene from the mid-part of the game circulating on Twitter (thanks VGC). We can't go into too much detail about the cutscene in case of spoilers, but for those interested you can view the leaked cutscene via imgur. It's theorised that the leaked footage shows an earlier build of the remake since some of the visuals, such as the lighting, appear different from the officially released footage. Related: Why Are We Worried About Spoilers For The Last Of Us Remake?Leaks about The Last of Us Part 1 have dogged the developer from even before the game was officially unveiled. The day of its official reveal was spoiled somewhat since leaks came out in the morning of its curtain raiser via Summer Game Fest. The air was kind of taken out of its announcement at the event since the world already knew a lot of what was coming up, as Neil Druckmann took the stage at the end of Summer Game Fest, back in June, leaving a deflating feeling for what should have been more of a surprise. But rumours and hints about the remake had been circulating for months before that even.

Since then, Naughty Dog has shown off much more, and fans can get a load of the new visuals and learn more about new gameplay features, which mostly centre on AI, in a 10-minute long deep dive posted on YouTube. Following the release of this video, Naughty Dog's vice president Arne Meyer had some choice words for the leakers.

"Leaks really suck," he posted on Twitter. "Esp when we're right on the cusp of an asset drop. It's disheartening and frustrating to teams who have put their hearts making awesome things for our fans."

The Last of Us Part 1 launches on September 2 and priced at $69.99/£69.99, which itself has stirred some debate.
