Anvil: Vault Breakers tasks you as a battle-hardened character who dons a battlesuit known as a Breaker. Each Breaker is unique in its abilities, skills, powers, looks, and weapons. Depending on your playstyle, you can find a Breaker to suit your needs from up close and personal melee brawlers to long-distance, gun-focused specialists. There is sure to be a Breaker that you will enjoy playing as, however, not all of them are available from the start.Anvil: Vault Breakers offers a few Breakers to begin with as well, as one or two featured ones to try out before purchasing with the in-game currency. You really can't go wrong with any of the Breakers since they are all powerful in their own right, albeit, with their own specializations. Here are the best Breakers currently in the game that you should focus your time on.
6 Uzi - Fast And Deadly
Uzi is easily one of the most powerful Breakers in the game, mostly down to how nimble and powerful she is. Uzi, as her name implies, is equipped with dual handguns that act as SMGs. These fast-firing and deadly guns can rain down a hail of firey bullets without blinking an eye.
Uzi, apart from also looking pretty darn cool, has some extremely useful abilities including frozen shock, phoenix wings, umbrella, and quick teleport. The best of these skills has to be phoenix wings, a move that guides Uzi forward with a relentless spray of bullets while also being temporarily invulnerable.
5 Elsa - A Lethal Specialist
Elsa is quite similar to Uzi in that she rocks dual handguns and is an overall quick Breaker, however, her abilities differ quite a bit, apart from her teleport skill. Her dual handguns fire slower shots which end up dealing more damage, especially if she can manage to find the homing handguns.
Elsa's best ability is her uber-powerful ultrabeam. This ultrabeam is essentially a massive energy sword that can swipe left and right in order to take out groups of aliens. While ultrabeam is set to a cooldown, the ability itself lasts for a good few seconds which makes it one of the best in the entire game. Plus, it can be upgraded to make it more lethal overall.
4 Jungler - The All-Purpose Breaker
Jungler is your traditional well-rounded Breaker and is probably the easiest to start off with. His weapon of choice is a standard rifle that has good damage output, great accuracy, and a decent-sized clip. Jungler is all about getting in front of the alien swarms in order to take them out as quickly as possible.
What makes Jungler particularly appealing is his mix of explosive abilities and melee skills. For example, he has a missile ordinance that can lay waste to a group of enemies from a distance, but he is also able to get close to his opponents with a gun swinging attack that knocks back and damage enemies.
3 Guillotine - In Your Face
Guillotine, as you might imagine, is a powerful executioner who isn't afraid to get right up in the enemy's face to hack away at them until defeated. This brute of a Breaker is a true force to be reckoned with mostly down to his gargantuan ax and wide swing radius. The aliens won't know what hit them when Guillotine heads their way.
For such a large character, Guillotine is surprisingly nimble, at least when it comes to his executioner ability that allows him to fly into the air to then come crashing down with violent ferocity. Plus, he can even some a bunch of large axes to fall from the sky for a fantastic area of effect attack.
2 Lightning - Bring The Power
Lightning is essentially what you would get if you imbued a battlesuit with magical properties. As his name implies, Lightning is a specialist in electricity with his abilities utilizing this power to great effect. Shockwave is able to knock back a multitude of aliens while damaging them and homing lasers are then used to specifically target them with electrical attacks.
The combination of Lightning's other abilities, lightning dash, and quick slide, can mean the difference between survival and death. Lightning is a great mid-range Breaker, able to take out aliens with his powerful missile cannon but can also move in close to deal electricity damage.
1 Liner - Each Shot Matters
Liner might look like one of the more basic Breakers, however, he is anything but. This Breaker is armed with an all-encompassing rifle that can deal strong damage at any range. This is a Breaker that excels at precision whether that be with his weapon shots or with his abilities.
Liner is great for flanking, trapping, and eliminating in quick succession. The electro traps can stun enemies while the missile launcher can quickly take them out. Plus, if you need to move out of harm's way swiftly, simply dash one or two times to gain a better positional advantage in combination with the acceleration module.
