Apex Legends from Respawn Entertainment is currently celebrating its Season 6 event and players are having a blast with the new changes. Outside of the gun changes which have altered the meta, many updates have led to a change in the tier list for Legends in the game.

Season 6 saw the introduction of the new Legend named Rampart, but just how powerful is she? Keeping a multiplayer game fresh is important and the best way to do that is to shake up which characters are the most powerful in any given season. It's time to look at who has risen to the top in Season 6 of Apex Legends.

10 Caustic

Apex Legends Caustic

Caustic fills a niche in Apex Legends that few of his counterparts can claim or accomplish. Whether you feel his gas canisters are easily avoidable or annoying death traps, everyone agrees that his zoning potential is almost unmatched. Smart Caustic mains can set up camp in specific areas and can cut off retreat points or flanking opportunities. If the circle ever happens to end in a confined area, Caustic is ready and willing to thrive in the gas, even at the cost of his friends and teammates.

9 Revenant

Revenant Apex Legends

Revenant was one of the rare cases in which a new character addition wasn't something that broke or altered the game. He was quite lackluster and his usefulness was as close to being non-existent as possible. Since then he's seemingly received buff after buff and those changes have made him a competent legend that's finding himself on plenty of team compositions. People should never underestimate the fact that he can crouch-walk faster and climb higher than any other legend in the game.

8 Bangalore

Apex Legends Bangalore

Unless she receives an incredible huge nerf, Bangalore will likely always be in the top ten Legends when looking at the tier list every season. She's meant to be the jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none, and has a kit of abilities that make sense to anyone familiar with first-person shooters. She's meant to have abilities that are easy to understand and master and is the legend most new players gravitate to. Her smoke grenades will always be useful in a game predicated on movement and distractions.

7 Crypto

Apex Legends Crypto

With Season 6 the meta saw defensive heroes get a boost in terms of their overall effectiveness. Because of this Crypto has risen in importance thanks in large part to his EMP blast which can break the tools used by Caustic, Rampart, and Wattson.

His drone can now revive teammates at beacons which is incredible and lets players get their team back in the game at a much lower risk. He can also scan survey beacons instantaneously, which now reveal the location of the next ring in the match.

6 Lifeline

Apex Legends Lifeline

Lifeline is still to this day arguably the best support Legend in all of Apex Legends, and her recent buffs only add to that case. She can now dual-revive via a new mechanic, which in the right hands can swing entire team fights if done accordingly. Lifeline can now also grab tons of extra loot as 20% of all supply bins will be blue. She's fallen out of popularity simply because healing supports are never the most interesting or entertaining, but she still has a case for herself and thankfully hasn't been nerfed into obscurity.

5 Mirage

Apex Legends Mirage

Mirage as a Legend has seen the most movement on tier lists as the seasons have progressed. His ability to make clones of himself once came across poorly due to how fake they were. These days they've been buffed to a place where Mirage now stands as one of the better Legends. Players who enjoy a bit of psychological warfare and confusion will have a blast playing as Mirage. The fact that he cloaks when reviving teammates manually or at beacons also makes him a pretty powerful addition to any team.

4 Rampart

Apex Legends Rampart

It's no surprise or coincidence that new characters in games with expanding rosters often enter the mix in a pretty powerful state. Rampart is no different and her passive and abilities place her near the top when looking at the tier list for Legends in Season 6. The update for the season made it so light machine guns are favored in the meta and should be the primary weapon of choice. Rampart's passive helps her reload faster and gives her extra bullets, which are crucial in a meta centered on guns that reload slowly and carry a large magazine.

3 Wraith

Apex Legends Wraith

When talking to professional gamers you'll find that characters that allow for improved movement and mobility will always be favorable in their eyes. Wraith lets players engage and get aggressive with the enemy, but at the same time provides options for being able to retreat safely.

Her kit is ideal for players who love to flank and prefer to have multiple movement options at their disposal. In terms of team play her portals are a must-have in almost every composition, so she's often a lock for most teams.

2 Gibraltar

Apex Legends Gibraltar

If you were an early adopter of Apex Legends then you remember when Gibraltar and Caustic were considered bottom tier due to their movement and hitboxes. These days Gibraltar stands as a top pick despite getting nerfed constantly at this point. With the addition of the new Legend Rampart, Gibraltar's usefulness only increased as his abilities offer natural counters to the new Legend. The Evo Shield changes in Season 6 make his area of effect abilities a lot more useful in team fights, as well.

1 Bloodhound

Apex Legends Bloodhound

Bloodhound has quickly ascended to the rank of S-Tier simply due to Respawn Entertainment giving the hunter a collection of buffs. Their ultimate, called Beast of the Hunt, now can be extended if played correctly by the player. Say you're in the ultimate and get a down or kill near the end of the timer, well the ultimate will then be extended by another 15 seconds. That alone is extremely powerful and doesn't take into account the fact that the ability called Eye of the Allfather's cooldown reduces to 6 seconds when Bloodhound's ultimate is active.
