Seer is the latest Legend to be announced for Apex Legends. Revealed during the latest Stories from the Outlands trailer and teased all last week on Twitter, Seer is a cursed man who can "reduce a mountain to dust, a king to a beggar, and an ocean to a desert."

He's also got a thing for moths. All his abilities deal with his army of drones that bear the symbol of the moth, the central figure of "The Moth and the Flame" fable where Seer derives much of his ancestry.

During today's EA Play presentation, Respawn Entertainment's Chad Grenierr gave us the details on Seer's kit and what he can do with all those moth drones.

Seer's passive is simple: while aiming down the sights, he can hear your heartbeat. This allows Seer to detect enemies that might be hidden behind structures and effectively counters ambushes just by bringing his gun up. Seers tactical ability sends out a drone to reveal and track an enemy, similar to Bloodhound but only for a single opponent. And finally, Seer's ultimate ability sends out hundreds of drones to reveal and track enemies in a wide area.

You can see many of those abilities in action in the Emergence trailer above. Although most of the trailer centers around Seer and the bizarre way he moves around the battlefield, there's also plenty of footage showing the snowy makeover for the World's Edge along with the new light machine gun.

Apex Legends Season 10: Emergence arrives on August 3. Expect to see more of Seer on Monday when Respawn drops a gameplay trailer that reveals more details on Seer's kit.
