As Dusk Falls' fifth chapter, Paradise Found, is split between the perspectives of Jay on the run with Vanessa and Paul, as he encounters Sharon in his house. This chapter has some of the most colourful scenes in the game, as well as many decisions that will affect the ultimate ending of the story.

In the penultimate episode, many of the decisions you make as Jay can alter details and events in the finale, while your decisions playing as Paul will effect the ending states for him and Sharon.

Darts Or Jail

This chapter once again starts at the Desert Dream Motel, where you'll get to see the consequences of some of your decisions. Depending on who is left alive, characters like Ash and Joyce, or Vince, Michelle and Zoe, can all reunite. From there we'll switch over to Jay's situation. The outcomes from Chapter 4 will dictate whether Jay begins this episode in custody, or still on the run.

If Jay escaped the last chapter as a fugitive, he'll begin this chapter by entering a bar. After asking around for a ride, a trucker will offer Jay a ride if you can beat him at darts. To win, simply press the button prompt in time and you'll unlock the 'Bullseye' achievement. Jay will be able to escape to Utah, regardless of the trucker's decision. While hiding from the policewoman, if you fail the QTE, you'll be arrested.

If Jay was arrested either at the end of the last chapter or at the bar, he'll start this scene handcuffed in a room with FBI Agent Bradley. Bradley will promise Jay that he can help, and that all Jay needs to do is cooperate. At a certain point, he'll ask you who was calling the shots in the Desert Dream Massacre, and Jay will be able to respond in a few ways.

Once Bradley leaves the room, Jay will escape through a quick-time-event (QTE) and escape to Utah.

Old Acquaintances, New Plans

The chapter then heads over to Paul's house, where he finds that Sharon broke into his house and slept in his bed. There are no major crossroad choices here, but you do learn that there's some kind of romantic history between the two.

Sharon will mention that Paul was the one to give the Holts the safe combination. You can accuse Sharon of blackmail, but she'll offer you a drink regardless. Whether you decide to accept or not won't matter. Sharon will then reveal her plan to rob Dante's offshore account, and invites Paul to join her. You can refuse or kiss Sharon, but again, this won't have any major consequences for now. Dante will come knocking at the door, at which point the scene ends.

Short Stays

We'll then switch to Jay's perspective in Utah, for another short scene. It will begin with Vanessa meeting Jay in the hotel room. After talking for a while, Vanessa's dad will catch both of you, forcing Jay and Vanessa to escape through the window.

Then you'll need to complete a series of QTEs to run away, hide, and successfully steal a car. If you complete every single button prompt, you'll escape in a car unseen. If you make too many mistakes, Mr. Dorland will see the car you escaped in.

Dante Or Sharon

The game switches to Paul's perspective for the last time here. Dante is still knocking on the door, so Sharon hides in the spare room. Your following actions will dictate whether Dante becomes suspicious or not.

The best way to avoid suspicion is to tell him you'll be "Just a minute", and put away Sharon's bra and the two alcohol glasses before Dante walks in. When Dante goes to make coffee, hide the ashtray as well.

Either way, you'll get to a point where Sharon will sneak up on Dante, ready to attack. You can choose to warn him or not, but they will fight regardless. Eventually, Dante's gun will fall at your feet and you'll need to decide whether to help Sharon or Dante.

Todd's Party

This next scene will begin with Jay and Vanessa arriving at a party. Near the beginning, the pair will be offered drugs. If you decide to take them, the scene becomes a little trippy, offering up the most creative visuals in the game. The last stretch of the game contains quite a few important decisions back-to-back, that can lead to a variety of different end states.

There are three different outcomes for this chapter: Vanessa will leave Jay, they will stay friends, or remain lovers. Your ending will depend on a different combination of choices, so let's look at everything you need to do to get each ending.

If you decide to fight Todd and smash a bottle on his head, you're more likely to be executed at the end of Chapter 6, if Jay ends up being arrested.
