Ash Ketchum now has a full team in the Pokemon anime, as he caught a Dracovish, which is currently one of the most powerful competitive Pokemon in the series.

The Pokemon Journeys anime has involved Ash assembling a dream team of Pokemon, as he's currently taking part in a world tournament against the best trainers in the series. He started his globe-trotting journey with Pikachu (which has a Gigantamax form), and he has since caught a Dragonite, a Gengar, a Riolu (which evolved into Lucario), and a Galarian Farfetch'd.

The latest episode of the Pokemon anime has just been broadcast in Japan, and it involved Ash catching an incredibly powerful Pokemon. Ash has added a Dracovish to his team, which marks the first time that he has ever caught a Fossil Pokemon in the history of the series.

Dracovish is one of the most powerful Pokemon in the competitive scene, and it's currently ranked as an Uber Pokemon under the Smogon rules. This puts it in the same category as Pokemon like Mewtwo, Ho-Oh, and Rayquaza. Dracovish is a Water/Dragon-type Pokemon, and it's one of only two Pokemon that can use Fishious Rend. This move is the key to Dracovish's power, as Fishious Rend deals double damage if it hits before the opponent can act. A fast Dracovish can annihilate enemy Pokemon with this move, before even taking other factors into account, like STAB or weather effects. Dracovish is a monster on the battlefield, and it has the potential to be Ash's strongest Pokemon.

There is a lot of speculation that Ash will be leaving the Pokemon anime, and that the current storyline will be his last. He now has a team of incredibly powerful Pokemon (or he will when Farfetch'd evolves into Sirfetch'd), and it seems like he has what it takes to defeat Leon in the climactic battle of the series. Dracovish might not be a cute Pokemon, but it's Fishious Rend could be enough to help Ash win the World Coronation Series.
