Since there are a hefty five Assassin’s Creed titles in the works, you would think that even the most die-hard fan would be satisfied. However, some fans aren't completely happy with the locales chosen for the upcoming games. So they are making their own trailers focusing on the regions and time periods they want to play.

Over on YouTube TeaserPlay has created a concept trailer for an Assassin’s Creed game set in the much wanted WW2 era. The concept was made in Unreal Engine 5 and puts the player in occupied Paris. The atmosphere is complete with barrage balloons overhead, a passing plane or two, patrolling enemy soldiers, and the Eiffel Tower looming above just to confirm we're in Paris.

While it is just a concept trailer, it does take advantage of ray tracing as well as Lumen and Nanite to make the visuals look as top grade as possible. In the description for the trailer, TeaserPlay shared that they “tried to provide a general picture of this dream, we hope that Ubisoft will realize this potential and we will see an official Assassin’s Creed in World War II”. After all, this environment is one that “fans have been dreaming of for a long time”.

If the comments for the video are anything to go by, this is a setting fans have been wanting for some time now. Several commenters note that the best part of Assassin’s Creed Unity was the time spent during WW2 and that the craftmanship of the trailer is enough to make the idea even more appealing.

Until Ubisoft actually makes an Assassin’s Creed set during the war, players will have to be satisfied with the multitude of Assassin’s Creed projects that Ubisoft has in development. Project Red will take players to Feudal Japan while Project Hexe is rumored to immerse players in 16th century Europe. There is also the upcoming open world mobile project, Codename Jade, taking place in ancient China.
