Ubisoft has finally revealed Assassin's Creed Project Red and Project Hexe, two standalone experiences that will be part of the live-service title Infinity. Project Red will be set in feudal Japan, though we didn't get a setting for Project Hexe. However, leaks from earlier this week have claimed that the "experience" will take place during the witch trials in 16th Century Europe. We also got some more details on Assassin's Creed Infinity itself, as the title won't be a traditional game. Instead, Infinity will be a hub for future Assassin's Creed titles, connecting multiple games from across the franchise, although it's unkown as to whether this will include past titles. Ubisoft also talked about creating a new multiplayer mode for the franchise, so it's possible Infinity could be a hub for this as well.Related: Assassin's Creed Infinity Needs To Be More Than A Live-Service Content MillWhile it's exciting that Project Red will take players to Japan, a highly-requested setting by fans, it's also worth noting that the game is being helmed by Jonathan Dumont. Dumont was the creative director of Assassin's Creed Odyssey and is one of several high profile developers that have been accused of cultivating a toxic workplace, allegedly intimidating female employees as well as new hires. This also lines up with A Better Ubisoft's statement made yesterday, which claimed that alleged abusers at the company are still in positions of power.

In other news, we also saw the official announcement of Assassin's Creed Mirage, another title that leaked very recently which stars a young Basim in Baghdad. Despite getting our first official look at Mirage during the showcase, a lot of information leaked during the past week such as key art and plot info. The YouTuber who initially leaked the title also claimed that Mirage will include rooftop hiding places as seen in older Assassin's Creed titles and will also try to replicate Unity's massive crowds.
