You will face combat everywhere throughout this open world, and it is important to carry the best weapons possible to be victorious in every situation. Some can be found and others are bought, but they all allow you to achieve your goal of defeating any enemy that stands in your path.

The best weapons in the game are decided based on their stats and perks, as these two things combined make them both powerful and useful. The types of weapons you choose to use will depend on your playstyle as you decide what suits you best in the middle of combat!

25 Conductor of Souls (Sword)

You can earn the Conductor of Souls by completing one normal fight in The Trial of the Gods. This weapon hits hard and is easy enough to acquire when you are a decent way into the game.

It might take a few weeks until you can finally unlock it during the trials, but it is worth the wait as it will grant you a bit of health after a kill.

24 Was Scepter (Scepter)

Though Scepters as a weapon type tend to be on the lower end of damage output, there are a few that you should make an exception for and the Was Scepter is one of them. Despite its name, this weapon is described as having been wielded by the God Of Death himself, Anubis.

To get your hands on it, you'll need to complete the Trials Of The Gods timed event, specifically the Scepter fight.

23 Humbaba's Fang (Regular Sword)

Though these types of swords bear a striking resemblance to paddles, you don't use them to canoe down the Nile. This couldn't be more true for the one known as Humbaba's Fang which is said to have been created by the historical figure Gilgamesh after he carved it from the tooth of a villainous giant.

If you want to wield this piece of dental work, you'll need a lot of luck since it can only be obtained by purchasing Heka Chests from the Nomad's Bazaar.

22 The Fourth Plague (Warrior Bow)

The precision of The Fourth Plague is unlike anything you will have ever experienced before, and that is why it is so highly recommended by players. You can add it to your inventory by eliminating a Phylakes named Galatian, and it can be a challenging task.

It deals a lot of damage as it is an amazing warrior bow, which is why it might be in your best interest to seek out this fight. You can even use it to avenge a child who was attacked by bandits.

21 Ultima Blade (Sword)

The Ultima Blade is a legendary sword that can be found in the base game after you complete the quest called A Gift from the Gods. It not only helps you regenerate adrenaline more quickly, but it will also grant you some health after a critical hit.

The design of this blade draws the eye and was part of a collaboration with Final Fantasy XV, for those who are fans of this franchise as well.

20 Composite Bow (Light Bow)

The Composite Bow is a light bow that may not be as sophisticated as some others, but it will help you throughout the entirety of the game. It can be acquired by killing a Phylakes called Half Horn, and it is one of the fastest bows in the game.

This bow is great for those with an eye for accuracy, as after every hit some of your health will be regenerated.

19 Ippei Blade (Katana)

Even though Assassin's Creed Origins works hard to maintain historical accuracy, the availability of DLCs can completely mess with that. One way they do so is by adding in the Ippei Blade, a katana-like weapon that was contextually added into the Animus by the user, Layla Hassan.

It's easy to get this weapon provided you're willing to pay the price. Just purchase the For Honor Pack DLC from the store.

18 Ripper (Sickle Sword)

If you visit Reda at the Nomad’s Bazaar then you might be lucky enough to pick up a sickle sword called the Ripper, which looks amazing with the Isu Armor. It will cause your opponent to bleed and inflict a high amount of damage after a successful critical hit, as well as grant you some health.

17 Bow Of Ra (Light Bow)

One of the most notable aspects of Egyptian mythology is its huge pantheon of deities ranging all across the alignment spectrum. Ra was viewed as a benevolent being who is said to have wielded a bow that carried the very fire of the sun within it.

It is great for a spear with high max damage and an amazing combo multiplier, but the Health on Kill perk comes in handy when facing off against high-level opponents.

15 Sunslayer (Sword)

The classic Egyptian sword was designed with a narrow base before widening towards the end with a sharp point. These swords were made out of all sorts of materials, but the legendary Sunslayer lived up to its name as its golden form reflected sunlight in such a powerful way.

The way to earn this gilded blade is to complete the first fight in the Trial Of The Gods which involves sword-fighting.

14 Trophy Hunter (Predator Bow)

The Trophy Hunter is a deadly Predator Bow that deals an exceptional amount of damage and almost guarantees a kill in one shot. You can obtain this weapon by defeating two War Elephants in Uab Nome, and it is no easy task to complete.

Its Elevation Multiplier perk makes it extremely desirable, as any shot you take from over three meters higher than your opponent will deal double the damage. It makes it worth it to seek out a high perch and rain down arrows on an enemy camp from above.

13 Lord Of Thebes (Scepter)

You can obtain the Lord of Thebes Scepter by completing a sidequest quest called Unfair Trade. It takes Bayek on a journey to assassinate the Strategos, who were desecrating tombs all across the land.

This Scepter has high max damage and its perk grants you some health after landing a hit on an opponent.

12 The Living One (Sickle Sword)

You must complete the quests called Aten Rising and The Heretic in order to add The Living One to your inventory. This Sickle Sword is dropped after you defeat Akhenaten, and it comes with some incredible perks.

Not only will it allow you to recharge your adrenaline faster, but it also has a perk called Instant Charging, so your heavy attack is ready at a moment’s notice.

11 Mustapha's Blade (Regular Sword)

Mustapha's Blade might not look like much, but its reliability belies its homely appearance. This weapon might not have the highest damage on the market. However, players love to use it after they finish the game to run around and do as they please.

It can be bought from the Hidden Ones Store after completing the game. The combination of its abilities makes it formidable in battle.

10 Hepzefa’s Sword (Regular Sword)

The high damage that this sword puts out is what makes it so desirable in the eyes of players. It can be acquired by completing the main quest called The Final Weighing, where an old woman named Rabiah will give Bayek this weapon.

The only con to this weapon is that you must be careful as you walk around, especially when oil jars are nearby, as it can ignite them and damage you.

9 Amun's Might (Regular Sword)

This is a regular sword that can be acquired by completing the Gods or Creed side quest, where you will be tasked with retrieving three idols. The instant charging is why so many players crave to have this weapon in their arsenal, as you don't have to wait to complete these types of attacks.

8 Golden Wolf (Regular Sword)

This weapon is a favorite among both pros and average players in this game, and it is added to your inventory after killing The Outsider Phylakes. You will love how it restores some of your health after a kill, which is a great perk, especially when facing more difficult opponents.

7 Smoke and Mirrors (Predator Bow)

This predator bow is as deadly as it sounds, especially when performing stealth attacks. You will also have the chance to light your enemies on fire with its perk, and that is part of the reason why so many players seek out The Iron Ram Phylakes in order to use this bow.

6 Storm Blades (Dual Sword)

Bayek, one of the best assassins to enter the series, will carry twin quick-swinging blades with this weapon. The downside is that you will have to be within very close range of your opponent, but it does instantly charge your heavy attack.

You must kill the Ra's Mercy Phylakes if you decide you want to give this legendary weapon a try.
