Assassin's Creed Origins represented a turning point for the Assassin's Creed series. A departure from the style of gameplay that the franchise had become known for, 2017's Origins puts players in the shoes of Bayek of Siwa; a Medjay of Ancient Egypt and a proto-assassin doing assassin-like things before the Brotherhood had even been established.
An Ancient Egyptian sheriff of sorts, Bayek travels far and wide to avenge his son's death at the collective hands of the Order of the Ancients, a mysterious and dangerous collective of proto-templars.
Unsurprisingly, it is a pretty big burden for Bayek to bear; traveling around Egypt and righting wrongs is hard work, but he still manages to get it done and in style. For many players, unlocking all of the outfits and available gear is one of their favorite aspects of games, especially RPG-style games like this one.

15 Shaman
This neat outfit is said to allow Bayek to have better communication with the spirits that could improve his hunting skills. You can earn this legendary outfit by defeating the war elephant, Herwennefer.
It will give Bayek a somewhat mystical air when wearing it, and it comes with a cheetah hide that is draped across his shoulder, making it seem as if he just came back from an accomplished hunt. The red hood and fabric coloring is also suited to his skin tone and makes him look formidable but also intriguing.
14 Ezio's Outfit
Ezio Auditore da Firenze is one of the most popular characters in the entire franchise, so it is pretty awesome that you can wear his outfit in this game. To earn the legendary outfit, you will need to get the Assassin Badge on Uplay.
That can be achieved by earning 3,000 XP across all the games in the franchise that you regularly play. If you've already spent a lot of hours on your AC games, then it shouldn't be hard for you to unlock Ezio's outfit at all.
13 Dress Of The Northern Realm
The Dress of the Northern Realm is another legendary outfit you can find in the game. You'll be able to purchase it from a tailor for 5,000 drachmae. It isn't the prettiest outfit to look at, as it is quite bulky, but it's practical.
In fact, some people think this outfit is rather ugly but it also seems to be very well-suited to the missions you'll be embarking in. Even if it's not exactly gorgeous, it's one of the better outfits in the game and offers protection.
12 Dress Of The Coastal Realm
To get this legendary outfit, you'll need to defeat the boss known as The Slaver in Krokodilopolis in the Gladiator Arena. It can also be purchased from a tailor for the cost of 5,000 drachmae.
It is one of the coolest looking outfits in the game, although some gamers have pointed out that it seems like it would be extremely hot to wear thanks to its boots and fur. That said, desert environments can get surprisingly cold at night so the outfit likely helps ward off a chill, at least.
11 Altair's Outfit
Altair's Outfit is a legendary outfit worn by the legendary Assassin Altaïr Ibn-La'ahad. If you want to get this specific outfit, you'll need to earn the Master Assassin Badge on Uplay. You'll need to get 7,500 XP from the game, not the Ubisoft Store.
It combines your XP from previous games. For those who have played Assassin's Creed for some time now, you'll recognize the character from previous games in the franchise like Assassin's Creed Revelations.
10 Servant Of Amun
Amun is the Egyptian god of the sun and air and is also very prominent within Assassin's Creed Origins. With a name that means "the hidden one," Amun could even be considered the patron deity of the Assassins. With so many references to Amun in-game, particularly when Bayek is delivering his victim's last rites, it makes sense that the Servant Of Amun outfit makes the list.
Available in The Curse of The Pharoahs DLC, this outfit is earned by completing the "Shield or Blade" sidequest in the Duat and adorns Bayek in garb that is both otherworldly and regal. That said, the mask makes this outfit. Equal parts non-descript and intimidating, no one would want to cross Bayek wearing this outfit in either the land of the living or the dead.
9 Persian Prince
While most of the cooler armor sets are tied to completing challenging tasks or sidequests, the Persian Prince set is one that is fortunately available from the in-game merchants. Thanks to their tendency to rotate stock, it may take multiple visits to find the outfit; however, the Persian Prince should be grabbed as soon as the set is available.
It's a great armor set that combines deep maroon cloth and metal plating, and the flavor text tells players that this armor was "worn by a prince as fleet as the wind."

8 Bayek's Outfit
As underwhelming as it might seem at first, Bayek's default outfit gets a place on this list because of what we already know about the Assassin's Creed series. It doesn't matter how many outfits you end up with, in the franchise's subsequent sequels, the protagonist is usually honored with their predecessors' original costumes.
For the Assassins, their outfit is often synonymous with their legend and it's always fun seeing the signature outfits of the protagonists in other games. While Bayek's Outfit may be a tad out of place on Connor in Colonial America, it works perfectly for Bayek in Ancient Egypt and is as reliable as it is stylish.
7 Sekhmet Costume
Another armor set inspired by an Egyptian deity, Sekhmet is both a warrior goddess as well as a goddess of healing. Her depictions usually show her with the head of a lioness and the helm of this outfit certainly helps Bayek channel that ferocity.
This outfit is available fairly early on in the game and is rewarded to Bayek after completing the "Lady of Slaughter" quest, which sees Bayek take on the role of the goddess during a festival performance fight in Yamu. Put on a good show for the people and he gets to keep the outfit. Not a bad trade.
6 Bathhouse Towel
As the flavor text of this outfit suggests, this one leaves little to the imagination. This is the garb that Bayek dons during the "End of the Snake" mission, which involves the Medjay hunting down a member of the Order of the Ancients that he believes to be the Snake.
While the intimidation factor of Bayek fully decked out in all his gear is nothing to sneeze at, there's something to be said about a character willing to exact their revenge in just a couple of bath towels.
5 Desert Cobra
When it comes to the setting of Ancient Egypt the snake is an incredibly notorious symbol. Donning the guise of a cobra, then, gives Bayek an appearance that is truly indicative of the Assassin style: Silent, deadly, and ready to strike at any time.
The little details - from the scale detailing to the fangs on display of the portion that makes up the hood - make this outfit worthwhile. The only downside is that it is available for purchase. The argument could be made that it's worth the money, but we know how hard it can be to justify spending real money on a purely cosmetic item.
4 Mummy
This one may seem gimmicky but gimmicks aren't always bad. What's cooler, after all, than taking on the appearance of a mummy and traversing the desert as a figure that would strike fear into the heart of anyone that would dare cross Bayek's path.
One of the best touches to this outfit, in particular, is the glow that Bayek's eyes get with the headpiece. In cutscenes with the headpiece off, Bayek still maintains an appearance of what a mummy might look like well into the decaying process. This outfit is available as a microtransaction or as a reward from Reda's Heka chest.
3 Isu Armor
Commonly known as "The Ones Who Came Before" by fans of the series, the Isu are the cornerstone of the past aspect of the Assassin's Creed series. They're the reason behind the entire Assassin-Templar conflict, although that reason can be difficult to discern considering the convoluted narrative that arcs across the entire franchise.
This outfit is the quintessential unlock armor set that requires Bayek to visit every stone circle site in the game as well as collect 50 silica from ancient tombs throughout the game as well. Once these objectives have been met, a visit to the Sphinx of Giza will see the otherworldly Isu Armor set enter Bayek's possession.
2 Black Hood
The flavor text of this outfit reads "anyone can kill; few do it with such style," and it's hard to argue that fact with this outfit. One of the best ones in the game, Bayek gains this outfit after completing the "Phylakes' Prey" quest, a mission that sees him successfully killing all 11 Phylakes within the core game.
After locating the chest after defeating the final Phlake, this outfit is the reward. The black with gold trim gear is one of the most impressive ones in the game and a fitting reward for completing the important task of defeating some of the most challenging enemies that Assassin's Creed Origins has to offer.
1 Dark Side Of The Moon
Arguably the coolest outfit in the game sees Bayek take on the form of one of the most well-known figures of Egyptian mythology. Anubis, the jackal-headed god of the dead and the protector of the underworld, is a deity that commands respect and reverence. For Bayek, this outfit is the reward for completing two of the fights against any of the avatars that appear in the Trial of The Gods DLC, and it gives him the appearance of an otherworldly jackal-headed figure.
The coolest thing about this outfit is that it changes Bayek's appearance down to his skin. He doesn't look like he's wearing an Anubis costume; now, Bayek assumes the form of Anubis himself. As far as Assassin's Creed Origins, the armor sets don't get much cooler than this.
