Looks like Eivor has led a raiding party to the offices of Krafton, as Assassin's Creed will be crossing over with PUBG: Battlegrounds and New State Mobile. More specifically, elements of Assassin's Creed will be coming to the latter two games next month.
"When the tales of the Animus become the realities of the battlegrounds, players will have the chance to acquire Assassin’s Creed-themed in-game items, see Abstergo Industries introduced to the world of PUBG: Battlegrounds, and participate in a series of exclusive events to earn Assassin’s Creed-themed crate tickets," said Krafton via a press release.
Between August 17 and September 22 PUBG: Battlegrounds players will get the opportunity to grab two sets of themed costumes, two themed bag skins, a parachute skin, an emote, a gun charm, and two sets of spray items. During this period, resources and props based on Assassin's Creed will start appearing all over the Haven map as well. Abstergo Industries has taken over one of the map's sites and is hiding an Animus machine. You'll also come across ledges where you can take a Leap of Faith from.
As for New State Mobile, Assassin's Creed themed cosmetics will be up for grabs only between August 18 and September 21. These will include themed skins modeled after Ezio and Shay, an upgradeable SIG-MCX skin, two themed vehicle skins, a parachute skin, and a wappen.
Last month PUBG rolled out its latest map. Deston, onto the public test servers. Speaking about the map, PUBG creative director Dave Curd said, "Deston is the largest, tallest, and densest map the game has ever seen. Throughout a match on Deston, players will experience dense urban settings with tall vertical buildings to rolling hills, plains and newly designed swamps. The map aims to deliver the sweet spot between fun gameplay and immersing players in realistic battlegrounds. Deston will challenge players to learn each biome of the map to understand how it will challenge them to consider different gear, vehicles, and cover in order to claim a Chicken Dinner."
The map contains everything, from a swamp, to a futuristic city, and even a giant floating chicken.
