There are several weapons located throughout the map in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and one of them is called the Briton Shield. It is a light shield and it is highly desired by players for its amazing stats. Fortunately, it isn't too hard to acquire, but you do have to be far enough along in the story in order to find it.
Some players struggle to figure out how to add this item to their inventory, and this guide will help to walk you through it. You will have the Briton Shield in your possession in no time and battling enemies will become a breeze with this weapon!
Head To Lunden
The first thing you need to do is head to Lunden, but you should make sure that you have completed the story arc for this location, or at least have it unlocked. If you haven't traveled to Lunden yet, then you need to talk to Randvi before leaving and make sure you pledge to this location.
Find The Temple Of Mithras
If you have already completed the story arc for Lunden then you can head directly to The Temple of Mithras. It is located in the southeast corner of the city, and it is pretty hard to miss.
Once inside you need to follow the path underground, then squeeze through the opening in the wall on the left. Next, you will follow the path until you come to a room with a door at the far end.
Don't head to the door, rather, look to the left on the other side of the room and locate the two movable objects. There is a small opening beside the movable object on the far right and you will need to slide under this.
After you slide under it, follow the path straight ahead and the turns will take you to the right. You will see a wall with an opening at the top, but before this is an alcove on the left where you can find the chest with the Briton Shield.
Complete The Quest Called Walls And Shadows
If this is your first time in Lunden, then you need to complete the quest called Walls and Shadows before you can access it. It is the first quest in the City of War Saga, so it won't take you too long.
Meet Stowe In Lunden
First, you need to meet Stowe in Lunden and help him fight the Norse soldiers. When they are defeated you are given the option to romance him, then he will take you to Tryggr who you will discover has been murdered.
Discover Clues To Who Murdered Tryggr
You will then need to find the four clues that speak of his death, which are located:
- Where Tryggr's dead body sits on the throne
- The bloodied footprints right in front of the door
- Behind the boxes to the left of the door
- The man who is hanging from the ceiling
You will learn that three people were involved in his death called The Leech, The Arrow, and The Compass, and it is up to you to figure out their whereabouts.
Head To The Temple Of Mithras
Once this leg of the quest is done it will send you to The Temple of Mithras, but beware as it is heavily guarded. Make your way down to the entrance and find the chest in order to retrieve this light shield.
