It doesn’t matter how long the Assassin’s Creed series has been going on for, as it’s a guarantee that every new protagonist will have memes dedicated to them. These generally have to do with the character’s mannerisms and traits, which fans love to poke fun at.

Eivor is no different and might be an even bigger target due to their status as a Viking. For the most part, it’s the male version of Eivor who’s received memes about him, although the logic shown by the character pertains to both versions. Let’s see which funny pictures might be the most appropriate of the bunch.

10 Eivor Is Out Of His Element

If the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla ends up getting the mods that Odyssey had, there’s every chance that this scenario might be possible. In every scene featuring Eivor, the protagonist is shown roaring with power as if no one can beat him. Unfortunately, Kratos has entered the picture.

This means that Eivor’s logic of mowing through enemies won’t apply since Kratos has the reputation to do that and then some. In fact, this might be the one picture where Eivor is shown struck with fear and it’s certainly justified on this occasion.

9 It's Not Cheating If You Don't Know

If Eivor was aware of the characters of other video game series, then it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility if he stole his look from The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. That game already has its own fair share of memes, so it looks like Eivor has crashed this party.

Even those unaware of Skyrim will agree that’s a pretty close likeness going on in this picture. In a way, one could think that Ubisoft figured nobody would notice since Eivor is in much higher quality graphics.

8 So Much For The Creed

When it comes to the assassins that have been seen so far, Eivor probably wouldn’t rank so high considering he’s not even a full-on assassin. For the most part, Valhalla has us going about invading different lands, something the assassins didn’t do.

According to this meme, a hurt Assassin's Creed fan is having an argument with Eivor over his logic of considering himself as part of the Hidden Ones and still engaging in conquering places. Honestly, if this were an option in real life, it doesn’t seem so far from the realm of possibility.

7 Epic Fail

The mythology of the series has been stretched pretty far by this point, and might not be the best thing about the game, what with the godlike figures seen in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla being too on the nose. Within the game, Eivor repeatedly touts Odin’s support, to the point where that has become a meme of its own.

However, it’s revealed later on that Eivor was the reincarnation of Odin, basically taking Odin out of the picture since he was never really looking after Eivor after all. This meme has illustrated this scenario, showing Odin evaporating like the Marvel Cinematic Universe version did.

6 The Real Eivor

eivor meme

This one is more to do with the logic of the gamers playing Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, as most of them figure that stepping into the shoes of the main character means taking on their appearance as well. The person behind this meme seems to have become self-referential.

They’ve let it known that the gamers don’t actually come across as looking cool and that the second panel is probably more accurate. What’s funny is that the live-action Viking actually does look like Eivor, so maybe the cartoon version could very well turn out like Spongebob after all.

5 That's About Right

eivor meme

It appears that Eivor thinks that to look cool he can simply rip off the appearances of other characters. The person behind this meme has a different idea, though, arguing that Eivor might actually be the child of Edward Kenway and The Witcher’s Geralt of Rivia.

As if there weren’t already enough The Witcher memes going around, watching this one will mean most will find it difficult not to think of Eivor as Geralt and Edward’s long lost son. Maybe someone should tell Eivor he really needs a new wardrobe.

4 Like Looking In A Mirror

eivor meme

A few years ago, Assassin’s Creed fans were arguing about who between Jacob and Evie Frye was the better character, only for Valhalla to begin a weirder one. Eivor can be either male or female according to the needs of the gamer, making them one and the same.

Unlike Jacob and Evie, the two Eivors aren’t siblings, so it pretty much means if they were to look at each other in the mirror they wouldn’t know the difference. Of course, they’re obviously very distinct in appearance, although this meme tries to keep the earlier logic alive.

3 That Darn Long Map

While the game is definitely fun, it won’t rank among the best maps in the Assassin’s Creed series. That’s because there’s just so much running around from one location to another that the gameplay itself can become a chore to complete.

The original picture here was supposed to be a cool one featuring Eivor running into battle, but this meme shows the true reflection of gameplay. In actuality, Eivor will have to keep his game face on for a heck of a lot longer since his destination is probably a world away.

2 Present Day Eivor

eivor meme

The Viking age might have been over for about a thousand years by this point, but wars and battles do still exist. It’s just that they’re limited to social media where Twitter trolls like to instigate fights. Had there been an Eivor in present day, it’s not difficult to imagine his logic of a fight to turn to Twitter instead.

The person behind this meme figures Eivor wouldn’t even use his trusted axes, instead relying on his fingertips to launch an attack through the internet. What’s funny is that Eivor is otherwise the same, meaning that savage mentality will be coming in handy on Twitter.

1 Things Are About To Get Wild

eivor meme

Nobody could have foreseen the Flyting sequences that were available in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Rather than leave it as a cute side activity, the game ended up outright forcing us to engage in these sequences in order to increase the Charisma meter and access locations.

It seems the person that created this meme has no plans of messing about, assembling an entire gang of Vikings for the sole intention to bust out that Flyting mode. This Eivor is too busy singing in verse to consider fighting.
