If you prefer a faster playstyle then a set of daggers should be your go-to build in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. They allow for quick hits and give Eivor more mobility in the heat of combat, unlike some two-handed weapons such as Dane Axes or Great Swords. These daggers don't deal a lot of damage compared to other more balanced weapons, although they make up for it with speed.

If this is your weapon of choice, there are multiple daggers that you can collect throughout the game. It might even be worth it to try it out and see how you like them as you compare the daggers to the other more powerful weapons in the game. However, keep in mind that the stats could change based on your skill tree and what you have chosen to unlock!

Updated December 20th, 2021 by Ben Jessey: Ubisoft has kept supporting Assassin's Creed Valhalla ever since it launched. There have been free updates, DLC packs, and seasonal events. Some of these things have also added weapons to the game. As a result, our list detailing all of Assassin's Creed Valhalla daggers is now out of date.

Over the past year, the game has added several more of these types of blades. So, we thought we'd provide an update to make sure we have the complete collection, especially as some of the new ones are among Vallaha's best daggers.

It's important to note that some of the stats vary based on the weapon's level and your own character's build.

Ljosalfar's Glory

The Mastery Challenge update provides you with a series of trials to complete. By getting silver or gold medals, you earn Mastery Energy, which you can exchange with Hildiran for weapons. And this process is how you acquire the Ljisalfar's Glory.

It's not the most powerful dagger in the game, but it's well-balanced. The weapon's combination of speed with a high critical chance is particularly impressive. Also, when you hit someone with a combo finisher, it boosts your health.

Stats

  • Attack: 58
  • Stun: 78
  • Speed: 81
  • Crit-Pre: 82
  • Weight: 10

Drengiligr

To acquire this strong dagger, you need to defeat all of the lost Drengirs, then pick the weapon up from the snake pit where Ragnar Lothbrok died. You'll be happy you did as it's a great blade.

With it, there's a good chance you'll get some critical hits, and it's also effective at stunning enemies. The weapon's general attack damage isn't bad, either. Plus, if you kill someone while outnumbered, a smoke bomb will be deployed, giving you a chance to escape or launch a sneak attack.

Stats

  • Attack: 93
  • Stun: 136
  • Speed: 76
  • Crit-Pre: 123
  • Weight: 5

Ljosalfar Blade

For the Ljosalfar Blade, you need to head to the Helix store. The dagger will set you back 350 credits, but at least it's an effective weapon. It has high stats for attack, stun, and critical precision.

So, an Eivor wielding this thing will be even more deadly than usual. And if you do find yourself losing a battle, the Ljosalfar Blade will come in handy as it provides you with extra heavy damage when your health is low.

Stats

  • Attack: 124
  • Stun: 149
  • Speed: 71
  • Crit-Pre: 113
  • Weight: 7

Dokkalfar's Revenge

Another weapon tied to the Mastery Challenge is the Dokkalfar's Revenge. You can buy it from Hildiran if you have enough Mastery energy gained from the trials she gave you.

The blade is well-rounded as its stun, speed, and critical chance are all at a similar level. Also, it gives you a bonus for your melee damage.

Stats

  • Attack: 60
  • Stun: 78
  • Speed: 76
  • Crit-Pre: 82
  • Weight: 8

Jord’s Blade

Jord’s Blade can be acquired from the store by purchasing Helix Credits, or by finding it in Reda’s Shop. Its stats are excellent with high attack damage, but it does pay for it in speed. However, this can be counteracted by adjusting your skill tree or using certain runes to enhance this weapon.

The perk associated with this weapon is that it will increase poison damage when the blade is poisoned for a period of ten seconds, making it great for those who love to use this ability.

Stats

  • Attack: 121
  • Stun: 149
  • Speed: 72
  • Crit-Pre: 113
  • Weight: 7

Huldufolk Blade

It also has a useful perk that increases back damage when dodging, so if this is your primary form of defense then you might want to consider this dagger for your build as it is one of the best weapons in the game.

  • Attack: 90
  • Stun: 104
  • Speed: 80
  • Crit-Pre: 90

Modraniht Ceremonial Seax

Modraniht Ceremonial Seax

The Modraniht Ceremonial Seax is part of a free pack in the store that any player can acquire, and it is fairly strong seeing as it starts out as a Superior Dagger. The speed of this weapon is slow, but it makes up for it in terms of damage and stun.

It also comes with a perk that increases critical chance after a successful kill.

Stats

  • Attack: 74
  • Stun: 104
  • Speed: 71
  • Crit-Pre: 95
  • Weight: 7

Iberian Seax

The newest in-game weapon is the Iberian Seax which was added as part of the Wrath of the Druids DLC. You can acquire it in Ireland from Azar’s Trading Store for 20 Clothing, 20 Texts, and 30 Luxuries.

It is well worth the cost especially with the perk that temporarily increases critical chance after a dodge. The stats might seem a bit low, but it has plenty of room for improvement as it is just a Superior Dagger.

Stats

  • Attack: 67
  • Stun: 79
  • Speed: 82
  • Crit-Pre: 88
  • Weight: 8

Yngling Seax

Yngling Sea in Assassin's Creed Valhalla

The Yngling Seax is one of the best weapons in the game and it is found in Rygjafylke, Norway. There is a location called Eikundarsund and it can be found early on in the game seeing as you start in this region.

After reaching Marauder's Den, head to the southwest and you will discover this specialty weapon. There will be a large building at this location and all you have to do is head inside and open the chest. No puzzles have to be solved and it's not hidden behind a series of doors which is what makes it so easy to acquire.

Most people will love the perk associated with this weapon as it increases Eivor's melee damage after a dodge, which is the primary form of defense with this dagger. You will watch as you slowly chip away more and more health because of this, and it is part of the reason why players choose to upgrade this weapon to the highest extent.

Stats

  • Attack: 30
  • Stun: 32
  • Speed: 80
  • Crit-Pre: 64
  • Weight: 10

Hundtoth

This Fine Dagger is one of the easiest to add to your inventory as simply visiting a merchant is sufficient. It can be purchased at any merchant location across the map and it will cost you 370 silver, and it is worth the price if you want to wield a dagger in each hand. You will have to level up in order to unlock it, so progressing through the story is worth it if you desire this weapon.

The perk makes it even better as it increases the weapon's critical chance when you have low health, and while it is a bit slower than the Yngling Seax, it makes up for it with increased damage. The price point makes it perfect for anyone who wants to try a dagger and it might even help you take down a legendary animal.

Stats

  • Attack: 52
  • Stun: 55
  • Speed: 71
  • Crit-Pre: 73
  • Weight: 9

Suttungr's Claw

Suttungr's Claw in Assassin's Creed Valhalla

The Hidden Ones play a major role in this story, and Suttungr's Claw is one of their weapons. It can be found in Wincestre in the Hidden One's Bureau in an area called the Venta Belgarum Bureau. This is the final piece of the Hidden One's Armor set which is why so many people desire to have this in their possession as they can create an amazing build.

There is a hidden staircase, which is actually a drop into some water, to the south of Saint Peter's Church and it serves as the entrance to this Bureau. You will need to dive and swim through the halls until you reach the surface at the other side.

Next, you will have to move the movable object to reveal a door and break down the rock wall with one of your abilities or a flammable red pot. You will enter a room where you can collect this weapon, as well as one of the Codex pages Hytham requested.

The perk for this weapon is great if you have a knack for landing a bunch of hits in succession as each one will increase your critical damage. You can stack up to ten hits at a time, and it will change your gameplay as it allows you to take down even the hardest bosses in the game.

Stats

  • Attack: 48

Kopis

Kopis in Assassin's Creed Valhalla

The Kopis is a Superior Dagger that can be acquired about mid-game as it is found in a region called Suthsexe. You don't have to do anything except complete the main quests associated with this region, and it is one of the best storylines in the game. It will be granted after completing the quest called Storming the Walls, so it is something to look for in your inventory once this is done.

The perk isn't as great as some others on this list, but it does enter your inventory as a Superior Dagger with all of its upgrade slots already filled. This weapon will restore a low amount of health for each critical hit you perform, so while it isn't great, it can help if you plan to fight harder Zealots early on in the game.

Stats

  • Attack: 71
  • Stun: 96
  • Speed: 81
  • Crit-Pre: 86
  • Weight: 7
